Hotels in Borneo with a Pool

The location is very close to the airport and Tanjung Aru Beach, with a nearby local supermarket offering very affordable prices. Best of all, the rooftop pool offers breathtaking views!

A good hotel with a great spacious room. Panoramic view from the roof of the city, and from the pool — of the runway of the planes. Breakfasts are simple, but they are brought directly to the room.

I had a great stay at this high quality newly built apartment. It had good waterfront view with great sunset.

Room and furniture is newly renovated, nothing to complaint about. Host is friendly and responsive. Will return again.

Staying at Seaview Bliss Studio in Kota Kinabalu was an absolute delight!

Wonderful accommodation. Well maintained and with great customer service. 20kin walk from tanjung aru beach. 10min away from 711, middle Eastern food next door and kedai kopi right across the road.

Unbelievable so nice.
We rent the highest floor.
Can go swimming pool directly.
Then can watch sunset.
Full of many electrical.
Washing machine.
A toilet is bigger than my room.
Four room.

Stay 27 feb, the hotel was very new and nice. The staff very nice. Very helpful can speak chinese. The two lady help my check in run smoothly.

I stayed here for two nights with three others, and we booked the quad room with four single beds. The room was spacious and well lit.

Stayed at this Airbnb studio and had a really great experience! The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed—perfect for a relaxing stay.

A comfortable and well-maintained homestay. The place is clean, cosy, and suitable for families or small groups. Check-in was smooth, and the overall environment feels quiet and relaxing.

This hotel offers a very strategic location in the heart of Kuching, making it easy to explore the city on foot.

Without doubt the best place to stay in Semporna! A charming homestay resort that is perfect for visiting Semporna for diving and snorkelling. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable.

The staff at Timba Gardens put their whole heart into their work and make the place feel so comfortable and homie.

Value for money. This is my second time stay. Comfort deluxe room for twin sharing. Love the extra area at room’s entrance.

It was a long weekend and my wife and I decided to fly to Bintulu, a place we had never visited before despite travelling quite often.

A good choice for those with a middle-income budget.
Friendly staff who are helpful, especially if you need transportation to Mulu Caves or to the airport, including boat arrangements.

Super friendly staff. Basic accommodation with a superb setting and what makes it really worthwhile is the super friendly staff Anil plus the great guides Phillipe and boatman Liang.

Had a marvellous 1N stay here. Spacious n comfy with clean toilet n bathroom.
Friendly front desk service. D breakfast was satisfying n friendly service frm cafe staff.

Highly Recommended for a Comfortable Stay in Kudat.
If you value comfort and cleanliness, I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay in Kudat.

We enjoyed our stay. Food is good too. Hopefully owner protect the front beach because it has potential for coral to have their family there.

Not a recent review but one outdated since year 2006. You all may be wondering the reason for this review.
I am actually reminiscing the good old times my friends and I had in this place.

Rooms — Classy, vintage but comfortable.
Service — Very satisfied with the services.
Scenery — From the 9th floor, the view is great.
Location — In the centre where everything is nearby.

Had a very pleasant stay in this well established hotel. The furnishings are a bit dated but everything was spotless and odourless. The room was spacious and comfortable with every need met.

The room is clean and comfortable. 💓
When I needed assistance, was been responded promptly. 💪
Mr Ben went all way out to accommodate my request of towels which we needed.

Verything was great overall. One area for improvement would be upgrading the living room air conditioner to a higher horsepower unit, as the high ceiling makes it less effective.

Comfortable homestay even though landscape view, just nice for small family and complete amenities… there pool with sea view which relax your mind a while.

After a refreshing nap following my island-hopping adventure, I took a walk and came across a serene corner with a stunning view and a fine selection of beer.
Having my blanc with good view. So chill.

Strategic location. Variety of foods nearby (Imago KK Timesquare).

Went for Coffee Garage event and I’m glad that I met Chad’s Faves! 💕🥰

The owner is friendly, the price is okay, rm125 per night for a house 2 bedroom, got kitchen can cook here, got washing machine, tv, aircon. The homestay is at ground floor. Overall its nice la.

Came here to stay due to its proximity to Borneo Marathon 2026 venue.
Check-in procedure all can be done via mobile phone very convenient.

Highly recommended stay at Bay Suites Kota Kinabalu (also known as La. Mer Butik Hotel).
Location is very convenient — about 5 minutes’ drive to KK town and Jesselton, and around 10 minutes to Likas.

We love staying here eventho we're local too. Half of my family stayed here the night before my wedding day. Very convenient.

Located near the airport, just about 10 minutes drive.

Loved the place, great view, near the pool, comfortable and clean. All facilities inside the apartment. Spacious and great value for money.

1006 is a very neat, clean yet comfortable condo. All the utilities are well prepared. Not seeing any rubbish or ciggarette buts outside this suite. Very well managed.

Good rooms with secured car parking but there are few house agents and they made very bad rules, house keeping, utility, 2 months deposits need to pay and the worst is need to sign 1 year contract

The staffs were friendly, helpful to help. Rooms interior are like the one I've seen in China (top notched interior with affordable price) which is insane! The buffet foods were impeccable.

The best hotel to stay with good breakfast. Variety of food and menu to choose. Satisfied with the service from the staff. If can provide family room much better.

Fantastic location, very close to the orangutans. We also regularly saw hornbills flying around and even near the swimming pool, which was amazing.

The Sepilok Jungle Resort is in walking distance to to Sepilok Orangutan Refuge and the Sun Bear Refuge.

The receptionist was not very friendly when I checked in. Not smiling, her facial expression was not welcoming, more to looking down on me. She spoke in a very low voice, I almost couldn't hear her

A perfect hotel.
Staff was always attentive and able to help with any requests.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
Spent some time here as I was on a business trip, got to know the staff well.
