Our stay at the Hakone Kowakien Hotel in April was truly wonderful. The cool, cloudy weather added a peaceful charm to the entire experience, making it the perfect setting to relax and unwind.

The best memory my mother and I ever had! All staff were very nice, professional and the hotel provides 5 star resort service.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the Minato Mirai area, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation.

Phenomenal. Hotel rooms are huge, great views, good food at breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the club lounge immensely, lots of options for small bites and drinks. Afternoon tea was a delight.

I had a good experience staying here. It’s situated between 2 stations from 2 different lines, and you can walk to either in 10 minutes.

Fantastic stay! Enjoyed the heated pool in December, beautiful sea view, and cozy atmosphere. The on-site restaurant on the 1F serves fantastic meals, and Chef Yasu-san is a dedicated and kind person.

An oasis with a private pool in the charming, sea-side quirkiness of Kamakura. One night felt like a mini beach holiday for us from Tokyo.

I will absolutely be back and to stay longer. The host is incredibly nice and gracious. She does her best to speak English and recommends local restaurants.

Such a gem! So close to the ocean and such nice rooms with a healthy nourishing breakfast included. The host was so kind and overall it felt like home.

This was, by far, the biggest hotel room I've ever had. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. None of the signage in the hallways had English.

I have stayed at this hotel twice during trips to Atsugi. The room is always clean, staff are courteous, and the breakfast is EXCELLENT — there is a big selection of food, including proteins.

Rooms: 4 of us stayed in a 8 person room with nice view, and we were able to sleep in separate rooms, the room was clean and the interior was delightful.

It seems to be a very old hotel but the room is so clean. The hotel's staff are very polite and so kind.
Breakfast is also good. I recommend you include the breakfast package when you book this hotel.

This hotel has a great view from the window.
The room was huge, clean and well-furnished including a vault and refrigerator. You need to pick up your amenities from the lobby at the front.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room and bed was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was good though not very delicious as expected.

Average type room, although kept clean. Dated decor, but acceptable. We organised half board, so breakfast and dinner was included. Place is not easy to walk around, so keep this in mind.

Booking. Com says there is no Wi-Fi. That is incorrect. There is Wi-Fi here. Hotel has everything you need and a pool as well. 10/10 will stay again.

The rooms were a bit small but it had all the necessary things you want at a hotel. A bath, a mini fridge, a kettle etc etc.
