Excellent hotel that at the time of writing feels very new, spotlessly clean, and is very convenient for exploring around Kamakura.

Superb resort hotel located just a short walk from the beach! Just an absolute experience the moment you walk through the doors and curved corridor before getting to front desk and the rooms.

Loved the location and proximity to the beach. Amazing breakfast and complimentary drinks and snacks late afternoon/early evening.
The rooms were small (but bigger than other rooms we had in Japan).

Booked this Inn on June. We love the luggage storage service because we arrived early and want to travel Kamakura first. People who work at front desk speaks English, which is great.

Overall, quite happy with our stay here.

We were caught in the recent tsunami situation on 30 July and had to be evacuated from the hotel to higher ground for safety.

What can I say… The Hotel ist Just awesome. Good Restaurant, nice Location directly at the beach and like 1 minute away from the train station.

We had hoped to stay on Enoshima island, but the hotels there were full/expensive/both, so this was a good alternative, only a short-walk across the bridge to the island.

Check in time is a bit later than normal hotel at 4pm.
Room is clean and view is nice.
The soundproof window works well if you close it properly.

Great location just a couple of mins walk from Hase enoden station. Lovely hosts who have created a wonderful space. The room is not big but more than adequate.

Our room was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly, the location is great with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the central station nearby.

We drove from Odawara to Kamakura and stay for a night.
This is a new hotel opened in 2022.

I stayed here for two nights and I had a very pleasant experience. The check in and check out procedures were easy. The people at the front desk were very helpful and also spoke English.

Good location, next to Ofuna station. Room is clean and modern. Receptionist is very kind, they’re willing to support us when we forgot the items they help us to call to the store.

One of the best hostel/airbnb I’ve stayed at in Japan. Kamakura is expensive and has limited hotel options, so kinda have to choose from minshuku/hostels, this one is probably the best you will find.

I stayed at Sato-san’s Airbnb in Koshigoe, Kamakura from April 22 to 25, 2025, and it truly exceeded expectations.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay. The location is a short, easy walk from train station and Komachi dori street. The front desk staff helped receive and forward our luggage.

It’s not an issue that the room doesn’t have TV, but the room is super dark so if reading something on paper can be a challenge.

Sakura Sakura gave our family some of our most authentically Japanese experiences of our recent trip.

It’s the third night we stay here. We can’t wait to give all 5 stars to appreciate the services, food and environment. Places are clean, neat and tidy. The host Lin-san is very detailed and helpful.

I had a OK time here. All the shared rooms are mixed. The beds are super uncomfortable because they’re futons, The traditional type. The place itself is cute.

This is a cozy and slightly older hotel. They staff is very friendly but doesn’t speak the best English. They warmed up the room and the location is close to a train station.

The BIRD HOTEL is really an amazing place. The rooms were spacious, the course dinner was delicious and they had a great breakfast too.

The hotel is located in 10 min walk from the railway station.
Don’t trust in maps. The best way to reach it — is to turn right and then walk along the embankment to the left.

Quiet, old, and clean. Room was nice and spacious, and although situated next to streetcar, it's quiet in the evening when the train stops running.

Quaint traditional ryokan, we chose the 'Botan' room that had a private washroom, with a mini-balcony overlooking the Enoden train line.

The guesthouse is perfect, located close to the beach, in a calm area. I really loved the aesthetic of the place!
The girl who welcomed me was really nice and explained everything perfectly.

A calm and clean oasis in a quiet area.
I only struggled with the mattress in the dormitory, which I found to be thin (Japanese futon-style) and it's directly on the wooden frame of the bunk bed.

We highly enjoyed the laid back atmosphere at this accommodation. The staff were very friendly, attentive to our needs and we were able to truly relax.

The location is beautiful, rooms are cozy and have beautiful view, and the two girls that were working the front desk were the kindest people we met in Japan!

Right next to the train station and surrounded by supermarkets and tons of amazing restaurants 😋 Truly the perfect base for food hunting!

Stayed here for one night in November 2025. Note that there are two hotels with the same name within a few minutes of walk from each other. We stayed at the one that was opposite to the Starbucks.

The apartment was top floor with big full wall windows looking out at the beach and sea.

This is my second time staying here and again the experience was wonderful. The apartment is easy to find. It's a very short walk to Hasedera Temple and the Giant Buddha.

Lovely and chill place right next to the Hase train station, at a fair price. We really appreciated how much they cared about the decoration and every detail. It feels like home.

An interesting place with lots of character and a warm welcoming host. Not just a hotel but a great selection of menu items and cute shops.

I experienced the amazing dinner. All dishes have the memorable stories and atmosphere was so great. It worth to visit when you are near Kamakura aro.

Walking down a beautiful stone path, you can view many elegant traditional Japanese trees on both sides of the path. The calming view is enriched by a 170 year old house from the Edo period.

If you’re looking for calm and authentic Japanese experience, this is the place to go. Really good food such a zen atmosphere.

Highly recommend to stay here. The beds were really comfortable and the location is perfect. Make sure to include the breakfast, it’s really good.
