Excellent hotel that at the time of writing feels very new, spotlessly clean, and is very convenient for exploring around Kamakura.

Great location near Kamakura Stn and Komachi Dori St which is just a 2 min walk away. Convenient supermarket and pharmacy opposite. Lots of restaurants nearby for meals.

WeBase Kamakura was one of those rare hospitality experiences that stays with you long after you leave. The breakfast was exceptional, easily ranked among the best we enjoyed in Japan.

We instantly felt at home here, largely because the hospitality never felt forced, just the natural result of a team that genuinely understands how to make people comfortable.

Super convenient location with great access to the station and many eateries and shops, malls within minutes of walking distance.

The location of this hotel is perfect as it’s close to the train station. It’s in the corner of a bustling street making it easier for you to go shopping.

I stayed here for two nights and I had a very pleasant experience. The check in and check out procedures were easy. The people at the front desk were very helpful and also spoke English.

Good location, next to Ofuna station. Room is clean and modern. Receptionist is very kind, they’re willing to support us when we forgot the items they help us to call to the store.

Our room was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly, the location is great with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the central station nearby.

We drove from Odawara to Kamakura and stay for a night.
This is a new hotel opened in 2022.

I had a OK time here. All the shared rooms are mixed. The beds are super uncomfortable because they’re futons, The traditional type. The place itself is cute.

Next to a bus station.
15/20 min from city center by walk.
3 min walk to the ocean. Nice sunset spot with Fuji san.
Backpacker / guesthouse.
The owner and staff are super friendly.

Fantastic hospitality great view and location.
If you love the classic & antique westernized Japanese hotel this is it.
Plus all the restaurants in this hotel are amazingly delicious.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay. The location is a short, easy walk from train station and Komachi dori street. The front desk staff helped receive and forward our luggage.

It’s not an issue that the room doesn’t have TV, but the room is super dark so if reading something on paper can be a challenge.

The hotel is located in 10 min walk from the railway station.
Don’t trust in maps. The best way to reach it — is to turn right and then walk along the embankment to the left.

Right next to the train station and surrounded by supermarkets and tons of amazing restaurants 😋 Truly the perfect base for food hunting!

Stayed here for one night in November 2025. Note that there are two hotels with the same name within a few minutes of walk from each other. We stayed at the one that was opposite to the Starbucks.

The location is beautiful, rooms are cozy and have beautiful view, and the two girls that were working the front desk were the kindest people we met in Japan!

A small B&B based in a Beachside cafe. The staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. The Whitebait and horse Mackerel were great.

We stayed in this lovely Ryokan for 2 nights. Our room with 2 large single beds was huge and included a large dining area for eating our evening meal on Tatami mats.

Nice hotel well located with warm clean rooms suitable for holiday travellers. Good price if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in kamakura.

The staff was lovely, kind and helpful! I personally haven't had such a nice experience for a long time. I stayed in the dormitory area, the hygiene of the beds and powder room were really high.

I will absolutely be back and to stay longer. The host is incredibly nice and gracious. She does her best to speak English and recommends local restaurants.

Such a gem! So close to the ocean and such nice rooms with a healthy nourishing breakfast included. The host was so kind and overall it felt like home.

The House was very well situated by the beach. Place was clean, things are a little dated but a great stay.

Villa Sanjo Muromachi is an excellent hotel with a great location. It had every amenity we needed, and an extremely comfortable and clean room and bed.

What an incredible hotel/villa!
From the very entrance, the property impresses with its discreet and elegant façade. Inside, we were welcomed by a stylish and pleasant bar area.

It was a wonderful stay. Very nice view and great atmosphere. Enjoyed the pools. There was a gym that only had a threadmill and 10 kg weights at most.

The room was big, spacious, and had a beautiful view! Staff is very friendly and professional here. It was about a 10 minute walk from the station in a quiet area. I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Yokohama Bay Hotel on a pre-cruise stay-over before joining our ship for a Japanese cruise.

We stayed here with our three children and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even inviting us to take photos for the hotel’s guest wall.

I would highly recommend this hotel for those traveling to Kyoto. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our entire time.

Everything was awesome. The vibe at the hotel was amazing. We loved the service and the free bikes whenever we wanted was an awesome plus. The Record player and guitar in the room were a nice touch.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Comfort Inn Kyoto Shijokarasuma. The location was convenient for getting around. It’s about 5min walk to the Shijo subway.

The room is clean and neat. The location is very good as well, 3 mins to bus station that bring you to most of the famous place in kyoto.

This is one of my favorite hotels. The location is fantastic. The staff was wonderful. The rooms are spacious. The entire property is very clean.

Very nice hotel. Price varies alot by season so its hard to judge quality vs price, in our case price was very reasonable for this level of quality.
