Hotels in Kyushu with a Pool

My first choice if departing from Kagoshima airport. There is a convenient bus stop to the airport across the street and a conbini about 5 minutes away by walking.

Unfortunately, the Kagoshima Airport Hotel has closed. Therefore, an acquaintance of mine told me about a nearby hotel that could be reached by rental car from the Kagoshima Airport.

The bath here is truly an experience. It is huge, and the quality of the water is also fantastic. Dinner was also very interesting and delicious.

Great view, large onsen, but for women the onsen is some kind of labyrint to get to the men's part during mixed access hours :-/

Only stayed a night at the hotel, room was nice, clean and with the expected amenities of such a hotel. Staff were great, check-in was smooth with my zero Japanese ability.

Located close to JR Kokura Station which could be accessed via an elevated walkway. Hotel room and lobby area are with old design but furnitures and facilities are maintained in good conditions.

A lovely oceanside onset in Beppu. The view of the room is magnificent, I could witness the moon rising over the pelagic horizon as I dip myself in my personal hot water tub.

Amazing service. The room and decor is the best I've ever had. Better than numerous 5 star hotels and a Ritz Carleton I stayed before.

We drove here and it was easy to locate. It is near the yufuin floral village area and yet nicely out of the crowd. We love the room and the private onsen.

We had the half board as a couple getaway, during our 10 day stint exploring Kyushu with in-laws. The property had clean rooms with modern furnishings.

DEFINITELY the most satisfying hotel experience of this trip!
Hotel is located in the Senomoto Plateau, Kumamoto Prefecture, surrounded by mountains and beautiful nature.

Nice budget hotel, the room is quite small but not too small (enough place for 2-3 suitcase)
The onsen is also great.

Walking distance to a traditional restaurant (火の国ゆるり庵) serving excellent horse sashimi, seafood and Nihonshu. The room was clean, simple and following the LOHAS concept.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The room a bit old but it was very clean and big. Good customer service includes providing courteous and quick check in and free parking.

A great base for places we visited eg The Outlets and Shimonoseki. Though hotel is older and it shows in the room, for it's price and size, we think it is good value for money.

Dated resort but very clean and service excellent. A reviewer mentioned termites. Think that’s settled. So no worries. Get a room with ocean view.

Great location, lots of non-western visitors, more buffets style food approach. Nice Onsen. Beautiful views of Bay. Nice walkway along shore but not easiest to get to.

The hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean and big. It feels a little old. Like it was a hotel from the 70s or 80s.

This hotel resort is excellent, featuring numerous beautiful Sakura trees at the main entrance. I accessed the hotel by bus, which is about an 8-minute walk from the bus stop.

Amazing service! Super lovely landlady~ recommended a great Yakitori place for us and booked it for us as well. We also met the owner. He was such a nice guy and gave us a lift into town.

Good overall. Clean, but small in ground floor and need to carry luggage to walk the stairs. Not recommend for elderly.

Beautiful and quiet place, beautiful interior, bright and big living room with kitchen. Everything is clean. There is a washing machine with dryer. Great place for friends or family for good price.

Great Hilton property! Superb rooms! Awesome ocean views. The breakfast buffet is pretty huge but very busy with a nice variety of things.

I stayed for over a week at this hotel, and enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff was exceptional. They were attentive, flexible and very understanding.

The lowest price business hotel I saw in Nakasu and better value than sleeping in capsule hotels. I was very happy to stay right in the middle of Nakasu easy walk to the yatai and nightlife.

We spent 4 lovely days on Amami island. A wonderful quiet place with amazing nature and beaches. We have been fortunate to stay at Thida moon, a simple but very cosy place.

Very nice food. The room was clean and the service was very good. The staff was extremely friendly. I strongly recommend the grill at the terrace, when the weather allows.

The rooms are very much Japanese style, the staff were all very friendly, its the location which is slightly tricky.

Nice spacious rooms with sea view! It is also very clean. There are 2 tables for sitting and drinking. Beside the bathroom there is an additional sink area. The hair dryer is very hot but weak.

Quite a big hotel, but definitely worth visit. Direct access to the beach with good surfing conditions. Amazing onsen with a sea view, good breakfast at the restaurant and very helpful staff.
