The room is spacious and comfortable, with a Japanese-style futon bed on the floor. However, the room has a musty smell. The shared bathroom and shower have a very unpleasant odor, and the kitchen is quite dirty. There is a washing machine available, but guests are not allowed to use it after 9 p. M. The entrance hallway is narrow and the floor makes noise when walked on. The host’s attitude and manner of speaking are not very friendly.
The location is convenient, about 20 minutes from the nearest train station or just three bus stops away. It’s also close to tourist attractions such as Fushimi Inari Shrine. The kitchen is very dirty, but the good thing is that the accommodation is near a 7-Eleven and McDonald’s.

While the website boasts of modern amenities and clean, comfortable dormitories, the reality is starkly different bad smell when you enter into the hostel in kitchen and even in the rooms. The free parking is always busy because owner park his own vehicle in so called hostel parking. Hostel owner also live in attached house of hostel and his family uses same toilet and washroom. Guests are not allowed to use many kitchen items because owner locked the shelf, drawers. The things he can’t locked he write DONT USE THIS.
Furthermore, the hostel owner employs deceptive marketing tactics that leave guests feeling scammed. Online reviews often highlight the discrepancies between what is promised and what is delivered. Many travelers report that the pictures posted online are either heavily edited or taken from years ago, showing areas of the hostel that have since fallen into disrepair.

Me and my two best friends stayed here and had an absolutely horrible experience. You have to be absolutely desperate on a shoe-string budget to stay here.
The owner made us feel very uncomfortable. We were not given the room that was advertised, it was so small we could hardly fit us and our stuff in there. The beds were inch thick mats and the pillows were ancient. So uncomfortable.
The bathroom smells so bad of urine that we had to hold our breath to go in there.
That place looks like it hasn’t had a deep clean in years.
We tried to ask for a refund and the first night and he denied it. He did not hear any of our concerns and was very snarky with us. We ended up leaving early and losing out on money.
Only benefit is walking distance to the thousand gate shrine.
We were so upset that we got scammed. Looks NOTHING like the pictures.
