Kyoto Hotels near Taisho-yu

This is my new favorite hotel! We came here for our honeymoon and the staff made it truly special.

Stayed here on marriot points. Upgraded to a better room despite only Gold status. The cash value for summer weekday was very good value even though I used points.

We had such a good time here. We were a little reluctant because it outside of the city, we almost where going to cancel. Really glad we didn't the train station is close by and and also the bus stop.

Quiet yet convenient location with a beautiful park in the vicinity. Room is larg6and clean. Staff are warm and sincere, especially Ms Aina Sao, a housekeeper, and Alan, a waiter of the restaurant.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in (I have stayed in many). The interior design and finishes are beautiful. The room was really well laid out and very generous in size.

We stayed here for two nights and had an excellent experience. The facility is outstanding, thoughtfully designed, and provided a cozy, home-like atmosphere.

This hotel is centrally located. As we were going between Tokyo and Osaka, it was great to be close to Kyoto Station (which is a site worth visiting on its own!

The true stars of this hotel were the staff and workers. Our trip had an inauspicious start as our travel service booked the wrong room.

An amazing experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful, suggesting and booking restaurants etc. Beautiful western style Japanese room, comfy bed and L'occitane toiletries.

As all the previous reviews mention: this place is exceptional! Absolutely every detail has been thought of with care. We ended our two week travels of Japan here and were so happy we did.

This was a lovely place to stay, very quiet and calm after a full day of touring. The staff was very accommodating.

This was really one of the coolest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. When we arrived, We were given a tour of the building by one of the staff who is studying game design and working there for school/work

The staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The room is very spacious. Location is great, only 5-10 minutes to Kyoto station and you can get to all the attractions by using public transport.

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Rinn Kyoto Station West. The room is very clean and comfortable. We love the tatami in our room for our children. Room is spacious!

We booked the Japanese-style family room. Plenty of room for the four of us. My two sons loved the tatami.
The apartment hotel is near the Kyoto Station. In front of a very nice temple as well.

Firstly be sure of the address (this one is Yaoyacho) as there are two hotels with same name nearby (not sure why they hv to name both so similar as we ended up at the other one via taxi).

I've been to Kyoto four times already and will stay here every. Single. Time! This is the best hotel all around.

Stayed for 3 nights. Great value for money modern hotel. Good sized room with shower and bath. On site self service laundry was great (you monitor your was remotely on the TV in your room!

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our visit to Kyoto. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly, and we were even welcomed with complimentary ice cream.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kuu Kyoto! To start off, we arrived hours earlier from check-in and they stored our luggage for free, allowing us to venture around the area.

My 5 city travel just ended and I can say that Hiyori Stay in Kyoto is the best hotel out of 5 hotels I've stayed in during my vacation.
Amenities are great.

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights. We were very happy with everything.
— Good value for money.
— Good location. Walkable (long) to Kiyomizu-dera. Can also walk to Pontocho Alley, Gion, etc.

My stay at the Granvia was beautiful. The rooms, beds, pillows were so comfortable I didn't want to leave the room. Thankfully the beauty of Kyoto dragged me out!

We recently stayed 3 nights here, and loved every minute of it. The room was spacious and luxurious, with a big comfortable bed and modern elegant furnishings.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with the subways very close by. The staff are amazing and extremely attentive and the entire hotel is beautifully designed and upgraded with a lot of technology.

A Thousand Kyoto, truly a one-in-a-thousand experience. The facilities, the atmosphere, the sense of calm, the cleanliness — all exceptional. But most of all, the warmth of the people.

We had a fantastic stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Station and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Great hotel.
It is only a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station’s Central Exit.
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also great, so I recommend including it when making your reservation.

My stay in Kyoto was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.
I really enjoyed the slower pace and more relaxed atmosphere compared to Tokyo.

Superb stay! Highly recommend it. The breakfast is unbeatable and authentic. There’s even a rice dispenser! The staff are gracious.

The hotel is stunning and feels way more elevated than the DoubleTree hotels in North America — beautiful lobby!

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station during our trip to Kyoto in May and had a very pleasant experience.

Flawless check-in, spacious clean room, thorough daily cleaning, but the real stand out is breakfast — wow.

I believe Reign Hotel is easily in the top three hotels I’ve ever stayed in especially because of its exceptional level of service.
During our stay with my family, we truly felt at home.

I stayed 4 nights here, the location is excellent, just 10 minutes walking distance from Kyoto station, the room was spacious and clean.

One of the best experience I stayed here, very thankful I discover this Ryokan in booking. Com, near at Kyoto station, only 8 mins walking distance.

This place was AMAZING, exllent service, really warm atmosphere, all the staff was kind and accommodating, we been there for 4 night. And they are provided free loundry for us. Twice.

We loved everything! Amazing staff, good dinner and breakfast and the room was very clean and confortable.

Love dormy inn group, most of my visits to Japan, I'll make sure I'll book my stay here, the staff are well trained and excellent service.

So far, I’ve stayed in four hotels in Japan and this had the most spacious room (granted, two of the others were at a lower price point). The desk area and shower door need a deep clean.

I really liked my stay at the hotel. The staff was cordial and tried its best, even with the linguistic barrier.

Perfectly located just opposite Toji station with literally a 5 minute rail ride to Kyoto central station. Rooms are nice, quite spacious for Japan, and the breakfast is good.

When in Kyoto, staying at Dusit Thani would be a great choice that would not disappoint you. This concept hotel is a chic, luxurious delight for travelers looking something extra in a hotel.

My friend was craving Thai food, and we were so glad to find this all-day dining spot. A huge plus is that their last order is at 21:30, which is perfect for a late dinner.

We stayed at hotel tou for a total of 5 nights in October. We stayed at the superior queen suite for 3 nights and the terrace suite for 2 nights.

This is a lovely hotel super close to the Kyoto train station. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms are reasonable size.

I would like to nitpick but it was really a comfortable experience. The staff here in Kyoto are pleasant and helpful.

Very clean hotel with nice furniture in the rooms. Great value for the price.
About ten to fifteen minute walk from Kyoto Station. There is a Family Mart about three minutes away.

It's a cozy place.
Rooms are superb. The bathroom, fittings, free coffee and supliments makes you feel comfortable and enjoy your time.
I spent a lot of time at night in the Lounge and read books.
