Excellent stay from start to finish.
The hotel is great overall: clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, excellent food options, and a perfect location right by the slopes.

Stayed Jan 2026. Lovely recently renovated rooms, fit out and furniture. Awesome location to lifts. Great hire service with decent gear. Room allocated storage for ski gear.

Pension Lavender was a fantastic stay. The place is cozy, has a beautiful fireplace in the common area and large comfy rooms. We especially loved Hoyu's hospitality!

Pension Lavender is a cozy and comfortable place to stay in Furano, especially for a ski trip. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and really make you feel at home.

Amazing, very hospitable owners. I enjoyed talking with them via my (brothers) limited Japanese and their English. We came in August.

My climbing crew stayed at rishiri greenhill inn for 3 nights in February. We were the only guests and had the pleasure of meeting Yoshi and his family who run the hostel.

Lovely onsen hotel experience. Stayed here for one night. I went looking for an onsen experience, but having tattoos, I didn’t want to bother with a public one or having to put on tattoo covers.

I stayed here for one night to explore Jozankei and enjoy some high-end traditional Japanese hospitality. I'm pleased to say that Grand Blissen Hotel did not disappoint in either of these aspects.

Absolutely perfect 10/10 experience. Our room had a beautiful private bath that had temperature adjusted herbal water, and you could add more herbal water to adjust the temperature.

Stayed 1N in a Premium Room (with in-room onsen bath area) as base to explore Jozankei area for 1st time (60min bus ride from sapporo).

Great spot to explore! Lots of terrain inbounds and easy access to the side country. Was able to use on our epic pass. If you hit this mountain on a low day it will be epic! Lines were good 👍

This place is heaven, amazing from doing ski to having different kind of foods. Loved this place — they have October fest restaurant where they have buffet breakfast, dinner etc.

We chose this hotel mainly because of its convenient location near the train station, as we had an early morning flight the next day.

Very cheap, very close to the station & airport, have large public bath, and a decent a la carte breakfast!. Basically that's what you need for a business hotel near the airport!

The location around the hotel is amazing in autumn.
Rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable.

A lovely ryokan in the national park. The meals are excellent, rooms are very comfortable, and staff so helpful and friendly.

The Hotel Sugita is a comfortable and elegant hotel that our whole family loved. The large public bath on the first floor was spacious and very clean.

This is a highly affordable Japanese-style ryokan located in the city centre.

A family member sprained ankle on 16 June at a nearby waterfall.
Entire hotel team was superb. Attentive.

Very nice freshly renovated Hotel with very friendly and competent Staff. Easy to reach by Bus from Asahikawa and in short walkingdistance to the cable car to the mountain top.

Rooms are a bit tired and scuffed but amenities, services, and baths are all amazing!

Some reviewers here are so entitled. This hotel was by far the best I’ve gone including one of those branded hotels like ritz. TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY — PLEASE DO GO AHEAD WITH HALF BOARD OPTIONS.

Ogawa and Terumi are the most kind and thoughtful hosts. Mimatsuso is comfortable, quiet, and well located for walking to restaurants and bars. The breakfast is delicious and great value.

Great old school ryokan. If you want to experience old japanese house style just go there! Downtown area is just nearby and they provide free parking. The owners are so sweet and nice!

The location was convenient. I had the choice to walk, take the subway, or the streetcar depending on my mood or the weather. My room had a nice view and good soundproofing.

There is afternoon lounge till 7 and was great too.

I just had a fantastic stay at this Grand Mercure. Staffs were super friendly and nice and kind. Lounge was huge and free! Room not brand new but very clean, elegant and classy.

Had a pleasant check-out experience at Holiday Inn & Suites.
Ms. Yukari at the Front Office was very helpful, professional, and attentive.

We had a lovely stay at Holiday Inn Sapporo Odori Park. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the toilet was exceptionally clean — something my family really appreciates when travelling.

Short distance from JR station. Assessable to malls, sight seeing & convenience stores. Toilet & room is clean. There’s air purifier too in th room. Staffs approachable & helpful.

I’ve just checked out today and would like to leave the comment to appreciate the excellent service during my family stay for 3 days in Sapporo.

Had a very pleasant experience at Resol Hotel. It is located in a convenient distance to public transport as well as nearby stores.

Very spacioius room. And is as close to perfektion as it gets. But to cool down the room you would need to keep the window curtains open.

Plus points:
Location: amazing, near Nijo market and Susukino. Abit far from the station (500m)
Room size: pleasant comparing with Japanese standard, we couls open all 3 suicases at once time.

I stayed at WBF Hotel Sapporo and had a genuinely pleasant experience.

KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Susukino deserves a full five stars for its excellent location, comfort, and value.

Booked the hotel last minute under the snow so I was arriving and leaving by taxi. 10 mins drive to Sapporo station cost around 2000yen.

Very warm and friendly owners. I was very cold and she was Looking high and low for heat pack for me. So touched. Breakfast is very traditional and tasty only ¥12000

We stayed for two nights at Nakamuraya Ryokan and it was excellent.

My wife & I along with our 2 children (10 & 13) stayed for 7 nights in mid December 2025.

Pros.
We booked a twin room and there was a lot of space, which is rare for Japan. The room felt comfortable and not cramped.
The view was a highlight.

One of the Top Hotels I would recommend in Sapporo. Top class rooms & service.
The rooms are very very spacious!
They have daily tea coffee service in the Guest lounge on the top floor.

An older hotel that shows its high class. The mural on the ceiling of the reception is the first indication of the art and aesthetic of the venue.

Chose the hotel based on location to the station, bedroom slightly bigger than some others, and the breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a very comfortable experience overall.
The location is excellent. If you don’t have luggage, take underground Exit 22 — it’s less than a 1-minute walk.

This is a great little inn in Otaru. We had a short stay here, but would be comfortable staying longer. Rooms were very clean, new and spacious with lots of room for our bags.

Spacious room, w dedicated storage for hanging coats, storing luggage.
Bathroom & amenities are great.
The receptionist also helpful & we could check-in conveniently.

The moment I walked into the hotel, I loved it already! It's so spacious, the lobby smells great, and I love the interiors!

This might be the top of the luxury hotels in the city. It is gigantic, with a conference centre and three restaurants added around the base of the two towers of rooms.
