Affordable accommodation in Furano. Good location and the breakfast is simple but cooked with heart. On site hot spring bath is also great. No lift to the upper floor rooms. Other than that, nice place.

Not good hotel… Don’t recommend! Service is really bad and owner is unfriendly and money minded… There is a heater but doesn’t work… Towel is VERY small and you have to pay for a larger towel… Duration of breakfast is very limited… Location is bad and VERY far from town (30min walk) … Definitely not recommended… NOT WORTH THE PRICE STAYING HERE!

Great location with all the basic amenities required. Owner was lovely and cheeky which seems to be misconstrued for rudeness by some visitors. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A great cozy place! Very good value for money as it has all the facilities you need and is a short walk from the slopes and a number of restaurants.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Here are the reason's why: 1) the owner is dishonest and rude example 1 : we emailed him to change our booking by replying to the email trail for the booking and he claims that he did not receive it. He refused to honour the change even though we could show him the email that we sent a month ago. example 2 : we organised to send our boards through Yamato and we are quite sure he added a margin to the delivery cost as it had cost about 1500 yen more than the delivery cost from Tokyo to Furano. 2) The owner only accepts balance of your payment for the hotel booking via CASH. However he is able to process your deposit payment via card (magically). 3) the hotel smells like cigarette smoke 4) the hotel does not offer basic necessities such as a towel. YOU WILL NEED TO PAY 200 yen to hire a towel. There is no hair dryer in the room, only in the common area. 5) The hotel does not have hot water between 12am — 5am. There is a sign that informs in the room that hot water will be shut off after 12am. 6) Sound proofing is pretty much non-existent. If a hotel guest is drying her hair or other guests talking in the common area downstairs, you can hear it in your room.

Stay away. Maybe find a dumpster instead? If this is your only option in Furano then pick a different ski resort altogether. The front desk staff is a national disgrace — almost universally the Japanese are among the most kind and accommodating hosts in the world yet these people scream "guests are a necessary evil and a huge imposition! " I perish the thought that this hotel might be someone's first (or only) experience staying in Japan — it could not be more unrepresentative. I cannot think of anywhere in the 75+ countries I have traveled where the host was less accommodating. Pathetic is a kind evaluation. The facility itself is fine sans the choice to put the (owner's seemingly personal) smoking room right off the lobby to 'welcome' you with a puff of nicotine on arrival from your day enjoying clean mountain air. There is a Sauna (yea! ) but the owner can't be bothered pay for powering it past 21:00. The Onsen is serviceable though I was 50/50 on whether my stall had hot water. The ski room isn't accessable from inside the hotel (have to walk around and down awkwardly frozen steps) — the owner can't be bothered to clear the snow from an axillary set of stairs that would help alleviate the morning rush. The host will drive you to the gondola in the morning (very nice) however the ploy is rather transparent — breakfast times are limited to 90 minutes which end as the shuttle takes off — "eat it and beat it!

My friends and I had a very bad exprience in this pension. The owner of this pension is neither nice nor honest. My friend had complainted this case to Japan National Tourisum Organization (JNTO), but JNTO did not follow the case. It is so disappointed. I recommend foreigner not to choose this pension unless you have no other choice.
