Location — a little far from the center, although a nice area to walk around. Large supermarket is within walking distance (go there in the evening for discounts).

Clean and welcoming. I had single room as a solo traveller and it was incredibly good value. Right next to the subway so it takes less than 10 min to get to downtown. The place was really clean.

Thank God for this hotel. We had booked at the Hotel Nord Otaru based on the good reviews we read on line and were horrified at what we found. The hotel was old, dirty and smelt disgusting.

WWE stayed for three nights. The service was excellent.
Starting with the parking, I chose the stacked indoor parking as it allowed multiple ins and outs compared to the flat-rate outdoor parking.

This hotel was very close to small restaurants and bars. It was located close to the Brewery and the Canals. The rooms were spacious and bigger than most hotel rooms in Japan.

We had a fantastic stay at the Omo5 Honshino Otaru, as a base for skiing and sightseeing rather than Sapporo. Otaru is close to 4-5 ski resorts. The hotel staff were lovely and professional.

The hosts are so welcoming and make you feel at home. The dinner was amazing and the talks afterwards were so much fun.

The hosts where amazing, taking me up to lake Machū for a tour and showing me all kinds of things. Both dinner and breakfast were awesome, the hidden bar/restaurant really made it feel special.

A nice and clam stay during summer with a pleasant lake view at Room 668. It was cool but with limited shops nearby. The nearest Convenient stall is 6.8km away.

Rooms are very average, but it's the location along the shores of Lake Kussharo which is the draw.

A peaceful and scenic location, exactly what we were after. The hosts were so attentive and the accomodation is spotless.

No regrets spending our Christmas Eve here.

We stayed at Margo’s Garden in Hokkaido during our first trip to Japan, and it was an unforgettable experience.
We rented a car at New Chitose Airport, and we are very glad we did.

It is in a secluded area, private. The Onsen is spectacular with views and facilities. In the winter is beautiful, there is a convenience store in the hotel that sells snacks and drinks.

The views and service and rooms are 5 star. The only issue is it's isolated so there is not much choose for dinning. Really enjoyed the rotenburo views of gardens and ponds.

Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once.

I was able to find some really delicious food and a relaxing hot spring. I stayed for 2 nights with a plan that included dinner, but the dinner menu was different on both days with about 9 items.

Stayed here recently, late January 2026. Anyways, I wanted to book a room with a private rotenburo (open-air bath).

Nice onsen (hot spring) hotel. Every front office (reception and concierge) staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have 2 location right opposite to each other.

Location to park was a plus, very beautiful park, was lucky there was carpet of sakura in the ground, pretty magical evening.

Very nice with great amenities. Recommend the breakfast option. The bus from the Airport stops right near it and the main trolley is conveniently right in front of the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is really cosy, comfortable, clean and there are extra blankets if you’re cold.

Good for the price. Staff us polite and they have every service available required. Hell valley is pretty close and the hostel itself is just 2-3 mins walk from the train station.

Great location, nice low beds. Wonderful price. Could use an extra pillow I’m sure if I asked they would have given me one. Green low environmental impact hotel. All the amenities we needed.

This hotel is just beside Shin Hakodate Hukoto Station. Within 1 minute walking distance. Take a lift to the second floor to the hotel reception.

Beautiful rooms, super delicious breakfasts and such warm hosts. And of course 2 adorable donkeys. We loved it here.

We had a very nice stay at Annupuri Mountain View Lodge in January. Lovely staff who were very helpful and the rooms/toilets/showers were all clean.

Best staff ever! We loved staying at this lodge mainly because of the people there and the warm atmosphere! People are always happy to play games together or have a chat.

Beautiful ski chalet, extremely comfortable for family of 6. Walkable distance to Banzai chairlift at Niseko Village ski resort, yet quiet and private, away from the hustle and bustle of town.

I would like to start off by acknowledging the extremely polite and helpful reception staff of the hotel.

Relaxing place with an onsen that also has a mixed outdoor bathing option (they let you borrow swimwear for that section).

Snow Crystal hotel. The serviced apartment had everything you needed for a stay that felt like home, and it was very well heated to keep you nice and warm.

Stayed at Snow Crystal as a group and had such a great experience.

Will definitely be returning. Super accommodating for skiers and snowboarders as the bus picks up right outside the front door. The staff is very helpful and kind as well.

I didn’t stay here, but I experienced exceptional kindness from Mr. Lin — he earns my 5⭐ all by himself.

This was my second stay here, and it was once again a wonderful choice.

My family of 5 had a good experience at Hotel Mahoroba. It is a large hotel that caters to tour groups. We all stayed in one tatami room which was fairly spacious by Japanese standards.
