Hotels in Hokkaido with Parking

Our stay at The Lake View Toya Nonokaze Resort at Lake Toya was easily one of the highlights of our Hokkaido trip.

This hotel stay was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for exploring the lake and surrounding town on foot, with so much beauty to discover in the area.

We picked this place as a hub for skiing. It worked okay, everything is about an hour away for skiing. The host is super friendly!

I really enjoyed my stay with Ryu and Chi. From the very first day I felt comfortable and was able to do my own thing – just the way I had wished for.

The staff were so lovely and pleasant to deal with. They also helped with any request needed during the stay.

This is a great value for money hotel right in the centre of Asahikawa, with convenient parking if you have a car, right next door. The rooms are a bit on the small side but very cosy.

Will choose thite hotel if I come back.
Clean. Quiet. Hot water temperature just right. Spacious table. Air Con Warmer (good for drying clothes over one night)
Service staff are polite and friendly.

Amazing 1-2 person stay — recc 1. Nice bathtub for soaks and TV has youtube and netflix.

I recently stayed at Taketo Stay Premier Sapporo Eki, and overall it’s a solid pick for a short stay in Sapporo.

6 min walk to Sapporo station but far from usual places like the shopping street.
Good rooms, with a lot of space, with kitchen for longer stays.

We had a really solid stay at Sapporo Hotel by Granbell.

Hotel has spacious and clean rooms.

The location. In the centre of Sapporo. Walking distance to everything.

Stayed here for the snow festival which was just across the road from the hotel. Room was spacious and clean.

Stayed 8 nights here. Loved it. I got a corner room on the 2nd floor. It was quite spacious (from my experience staying at hotels in Japan) and got everything I needed.

We stayed at Comfort Hotel Kitami during our Eastern Hokkaido Road Trip, and it turned out to be a very convenient and comfortable stop for our family.

Backed by a major Western company, this compact hotel offers a well-organised experience. Parking is free and there are three car parks nearby.

Very good place for its price. Nice, clean rooms. There is a small onsen.

Had a great stay here. The hotel is well located, clean, staff were friendly and helpful.

On Feb 8, 2025, my wife and I checked in here sometime after 12:00. That we were allowed early checking in exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the public bath facilities before midnight.

We really liked the location, as the hotel is just a few steps away from the canal, shops and restaurants. Our room was quite small but the bed was big and comfy and the room was spotless clean.

Great location to the canal and restaurants. Pick up got Kiroro Ski Resort was just around the corner which was the main reason why we stayed here.
3 stars to the room just due to the smell.

Hostel nearby minami otaru station, from station choose turn right route, this route better than other. The way to reach this hostel up and down, will be challenging if u bring big luggage.

We had a big room with 4 beds and we are very happy with the ambiance.
There is a kitchen for us to prepare and have our breakfast.
It is a walking distance from the main road.

What a fantastic concept. Didn’t really know what to expect as the rooms are container trailers (new).

Firstly the location is very convenient you have a grocery store and a 7 eleven super close that gives you a variety of things to eat around the hotel.

Unique experience. You get the whole place to yourself. In room onsen, bathhouse in the woods, or open air bath by the lake.

Stayed at Wakkanupuri Resorts Rera, quieter sibling to the original Wakkanupuri.
Style.
Nordic Japanese chic hideaway.
Setting.

A wonderful guest house with everything you need. The rooms are warm and cozy with comfortable beds. There are bathrooms on the 1st and 2nd floor with constant hot water.

Tomuraushi Onsen was the highlight of our Hokkaido road trip! It is a hidden gem at the end of a mountain road surrounded by rivers and beautiful nature.

Traditional Japanese-style rooms. Very friendly staff. Extensive traditional breakfast and dinner. A remote hotel in the middle of the beautiful Daisetsuzan National Park.

I recently spent four nights here as a solo traveler and booked a Moderate Double Room. As usual, I did a ton of research (too much research!

Very near JR station. Nice view for my family room. The minor cons is dust inside hair dryer that I cannot use it at all. Breakfast very good and nice. I like the fresh milk most.

Lovely ryokan in a beautiful area of Hakodate.

The location is a bit away from most of the tourist spots but is actually perfect because of that, the tram is a block away for easy access.

2 nights in Nov 2025*
Reception staff were very nice, and the lobby has free coffee and tea 24/7 with plenty of seating.

We had a very positive experience at Hotel Resol Hakodate, and the exceptional staff is truly what sets this hotel apart!

I spent a night in this Hotel on 7 December 2025.

Traditional Japanese inn just steps away from Hakodate train station.
The first floor has a beautiful communal area, the communal bathroom and toilets.
