On a solo trip to Hakodate and stayed one night at this small boutique in December (with breakfast and dinner included).

A great place to stay at Hakodate! Wonderful service and very comfortable room. There is a very elegant scent in the air and the decoration is charming. The location is also perfect.

Highly recommend for a family with 4-5 people, the room is cozy and spacious for 5 of us including 1 kid. The breakfast and onsen are great, the food is good with salmon roe and Amaebi.

We had a fabulous and luxurious stay here at Fenix Furano, all amenities were true as advertised and right next to the Gondola station was a real plus. Hotel is new, modern and well‐maintained.

I will rate six stars if I could! Best location, right across the gondola station. Front desk people are always nice and friendly.

We had an amazing time. The staff were super kind and helpful. (To the man working at the front desk today, that was so kind! ). The rooms were very clean and the hotel is in a great location.

Had a great experience here. The room was spacious, new and clean, and the lounge with complimentary (and fancy) coffee, tea, wine and snacks was really good.

Loved this hotel. Short walk to the gondola, delicious breakfast and great bar/lounge area and onsen. Our only complaint is the poor design for skiers with almost no room for hanging clothes etc.

Love this place. It feels very new. Cozy lobby area with a fireplace. The room is of decent size (in Japanese standard), and all the hardware are pretty new.

We had an interruption in our travel day and had to stay in Sapporo for the night. This was the closest available hotel.

This hotel is right opposite to the bus stop and about 50m from 7/11 and seicomart. I m not gonna lie this place is old, maybe not as old as the lady who brought the dinner to our room.

Amazing little ryokan, not one of the mega resorts in the area. Rooms are spacious and the staff are so nice. The meals are amazing and well worth the price. Both public and private saunas are great.

The Kiseki dinner is pretty good. Opposite is the minimart which you can get your stuff conveniently. We added the breakfast which is simple.

We stayed during the winter season on a Wednesday when there are no games.

I stayed at the Tower Eleven Hotel, which I had always dreamed of, because it was off-season and it was cheap!

The room has a lovely view overlooking the open sea and it is renovated with a modern touch.

We were not sure what to expect visiting Kitakobushi Shiretoko. What we found was a well established hotel with lots of amenities (gym, onsen, shop, lounge area, etc) overlooking the harbour.

Pros :
1. Location, only 3 minutes from Biei JR station.
2. The staff were responsive. We asked to open a connecting door between our rooms at 10 pm, and they responded in less than 5 minutes.

We stayed at Biei as an overnight stop between Sapporo and Furano. Hotel Lavenir was a great spot to rest and make our way to the next visit.

Second Richmond Hotel we've stayed in. Would definitely stay in this chain across Japan as it offers great value for money; feels.
Like it should be a 4* rating. Staff are very hospitable and helpful.

The hotel is right next to JR Obihiro station. We received a free drink when we checked-in to the hotel. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and have nice architecture as well.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The room we were given was comfortable, well-presented, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

This hotel was very convenient being a 5 min walk from the JR Sapporo station. The rooms were great and much bigger than your typical Japanese hotel. The sleep quality was great.

Great location, good sized rooms, and the staff were super nice. I think the room was one of the larger ones in Japan for economy and it felt clean. Good amenities.

I'd recommend the breakfast lover to stay here. This hotel is the nearest location to Nakajima park and the subway station Nakajima Kouen exit. Also not far frim the conbini.

This hotel is located on the same street of Mitsukoshi, you just need to walk about 10-15 minutes or take a taxi to get to the shopping area. Our room is the premium twin which is quite roomy.

We stayed here from 7-12 Dec. Overall, a very good stay.

Booked a room for three of us — two beds and one sofa bed. The room feels quite cramped, with limited tabletop space for our things.

Nice quiet ‘chalet’ style hotel. Close enough to shops to walk but far enough that you feel like it’s a nice oasis of chill after all the bustle of Sapporo city centre.

Very good spot to unwind. Breakfast delivered to your room is a huge plus. Also, they have the best bread toaster I've ever seen. Friendly staff who speak English very well.

This hotel really surprised me. The entrance is located directly at Tanukikoji 5 Chome which is extremely convenient for whenever my family needs to go out to buy goods.

Staff as usual in Japan, are very helpful and courteous. Room size is okay.

The location of this hotel cannot be anymore convenient. Walking distance to most of the spots and areas most tourists visit and lots of dining options around.

Had a big room but friends had a tiny one then upgraded due to lack of space, so make sure you check your square footage before booking.

A great business hotel, if you join membership, room rates are discounted.
Apart from a little threadbare carpet in the room and worn out bathub it was clean, immaculate with amazingly helpful staff.

Great location, comfortable room at reasonable prices. Special mention goes to my tomodachi Kukishi at the front desk.

The hotel is situated very conveniently by the JR station. Probably less than 3minutes walk.

The location is excellent. Just few min from Sapporo station. However do ensure you exit North Exit near Tourist Center. There are 2 North exits.

Stayed 8 nights here. Loved it. I got a corner room on the 2nd floor. It was quite spacious (from my experience staying at hotels in Japan) and got everything I needed.

Had great time here. The team were fantastic. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the big window and snow outside. Rooms could do with an update but apart from that it was great.

The hotel is a pleasant

Warm welcome from the front desk staff. Outstanding service from Yuka, the concierge. I left something at the hotel and Yuka was able to locate it and send it to my next stop. Very efficient!
