Great location and good place to stay in Ubud. Accessible to most good resturants and shopping and it's just beside Ubud Water Palace! Value for $$$ stay on your vacations to Ubud!

I have to give Puri Saraswati Bungalows a 5-star for what we expected (it was better than we expected actually)! For how affordable it is, we had a very nice room (with lots of A/C) on a beautiful property. The only thing was the Wi-Fi didn't work too well in our room, but once we sat on the front porch of our room it worked perfectly. So if you have anything to work on or want to browse the web moving to the front porch outside might be the fix! Other than that we will definitely come back for an affordable hotel option!

Maybe this is a place that needs an acquired taste, I love it. Small bungalows very Balinese style, good air-conditioning, clean with good bathroom, lacking any chrome or shiny surfaces, good kingsize bed, simple breakfast, altogether good value and in the heart of Ubud. It's rumoured that a wife of the king runs/owns these cottages — Oh and there's a small pool to cool off in.

A wonderful place. Clean, quiet, beautiful, caring staff, great location. The hotel is part of the active temple of the goddess Saraswati. On the territory there is an amazing Lotus lake with Carp and Somami. In the evenings, ethnic music shows are held in front of the temple. This is the place for a relaxing holiday with full immersion in the unforgettable unique calories of Ubud.

Very central accomodation with historical flair requires refurbishment of its rooms and improvement to hygiene.

Very cheap accommodation in the heart of Ubud… unique structure and quite appealing. Its proximity to the palace, shops, restaurants makes it very convenient to stay here. Not a luxury stay but that's what u get for the amount u pay… Can't complain much Imp… No jetspray, buckets or even latches in the bathroom.

The bungalow is very pretty and cost effective as we paid 2200 inr for one night.

Very nice and traditional facility. I guess we were a bit unlucky with our first room because first electricity broke down and we had to wait 30mins in the dark untill a guy flicked the fuse. Later our air conditioning broke and we had to change room after they couldnt fix it after one day. If you like to feel the "bali flair" in ubud I think it is a good place to stay. For the price you pay its fair. I was a bit confused how desperatly they try to make you book their drivers and activities. Beside that the staff was friendly like everywhere in Bali :) P. S. You have to get used to the screaming geckos at night.

The rooms are next to Lotus Cafe which has great view to dance performance at night.

Less than extremely beautiful temple. Main gates were closed, we went over a side entrance into it. Really worth seeing!
