Cheap Hotels in East Java

Big recommendation. Not because of the quality of the room, it's an Ok simple room, but because of the host Hendro and his family who made my stay in Pulau Merah an extremely nice experience.

Hendro (the owner) is amazing!
So happy and friendly and he helped me in every way possible. Also very good breakfast at his warung.
I could use his boards for surfing for a good price.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s awesome. King kong and his people are very kind and always willing to help. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable.

Booked this accommodation cause we were interested in surfing lessons! We stayed three nights, and had surfing lessons in the morning with King Kong.

Great spot locate right on the beach. Nice restaurant with great chef, good prices and delicious meals. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area to recommend any day trips.

This was a nice stop over traveling from probolinggo to denpasar. Rooms were nice and clean with air conditioning. Pool and ocean view rooms and the food was good at the restaurant.

Beautiful location, overlooking the hills… room is clean, bed comfortable… hot water shower… good Wi-Fi… friendly staff… and best of all, a great room rate!

Lovely, clean rooms, very comfortable, hot shower — first time in Indonesia after a while :) Affordable price, scooters to be rented on spot and great breakfasts with few options to choose from.

Great place, good bed. Shower warm. Clean. Breakfast after visiting The Tumpak Sewu waterfall. Very tasteful (3 minutes with a scooter to the waterfall) Would recommend this place!

Great accommodation! The family is very friendly and the room has everything we needed. We came back when we needed to go back at Banyuwangi and we will do it again if necessary.

Perfect. We stayed there 3 nights and loved it, mostly because of the owner and his wife. They made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing and they made sure we had it even before 6am.

The owner is very accommodating and helpful, I need a brief transit and they can provide it though at 9 pm I messaged Ibuk.

Bu Galuh as the host is really warm and friendly, and she cooked our late lunch and breakfast with fully heart. It's amazing and delightfully delicious.
The point is, the coffeeshop is very near.

I’m giving it 5 stars because you get what you pay for—no false advertising on their end. It’s an okay place for a night or two, so don’t expect luxury.

We were so well looked after by the two young men who run this place. Mistakenly booked for the wrong month and was booked out for the night we wanted to stay.

A wonderful homestay, with a beautiful family. Room is very clean and large breakfast. The host can organise a guide to climb Mt Ijen all for a very reasonable price.

This place is very clean and cool. Service from the homestay's owner is also very good. If I could give 8 stars :)
