It was a great stay. The folks were very helpful, providing free transportation to many of the area’s natural highlights. They even helped us find transportation to Jember after our stay was over. There are good views of Semeru from the terrace. For a quieter stay farther from road noise, book Kaliningrat.

Comfortable homestay right next to the waterfalls.
The homestay breakfast however could have a little more choice. They wouldn't do eggs for us just fried rice and chicken.

Very close (15min walk) to Tumpak Sewu waterfall. The hotel rooms are clean, and newly refurbished.
The restaurants food was lovely, and a good buffet breakfast.
The owners couldn't be more friendly! They helped us find a taxi when the bus had gone and no grab available in the area.

Beautiful cottage resort. Sitting at the restaurant with gusty winds blowing my cheeks, then retire to my clean bedroom for a restful night. The owner was warm and inviting. A quaint resort after a tiring trek to Tumpak Sewu. Highly recommended.

The owner is really kind and helps us a lot. We are unlucky at first part of our trip. Our debit card disappeared in the ATM… She helped us solve all the problems, including the currency and the private driver, btw the breakfast was impressive as well!

I really can recommend this place, if you want to visit the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall for example. It is really close! The room was very clean, the bed was really comfy and the staff is wonderful. They even have a restaurant which is quite luxurious, because you don´t have to go anywhere to have dinner. Breakfast was included and also good. The owner is amazing. A very kind woman who also organized a scooter for us. It´s pretty close to the road, so it´s a bit noisy sometimes, but all in all it was great!

Honestly the food here was some of the best I had in Indonesia. The Soto ayam (chicken soup), fried tempeh, and teriyaki beef were insanely good. If you stay here, eat here.
The included breakfast in the morning is also awesome. It’s noodles and fried rice and fruit and coffee and tea and more.
They’re also SO kind and seemed excited to feed us haha.
The rooms were clean and pretty nice. They have shampoo and body wash and toothpaste and towels.

Amazing place with spacious and clean room, staff was really nice and the food simple but good. The only minus is that the door was like made from paper, because we heard everything from the street and the nearby mosque made us wake up at 4 am because of the singing and loud praying.

Known this cottage from Gmap, while has a plan to travel to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
I'm compared with another homestay nearby, the rent rate difference probably not too much, but the response of the owner while answering my WA is the fastest one 👍
Room conditions are perfect, clean and tidy with white bedsheets and blankets.

Kali ningrat everything in the hotel is very best, the hotel crew and owner are very friendly, the environment is also very comfortable, we can see Mount Semeru right on the right side of the hotel, very amazing!

Houses are cool new and comfy too, we stayed in other place : (they don’t have cool pics, but trust me, really worth it to stay here!

Very strategic place, only 5 minutes from Tumpak Sewu waterfalls. And the service is very friendly and the view behind Mount Semeru is very beautiful. Recommendation if you want to stay in the Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls area.
