We had an incredible time at Peno Homestay.
Peno guided us threw the magnificent coffee plantation and rice fields.
It was also very nice to meet threw him the local people : a true Indonesian experience.
Moreover, the food cooked by Peno's family is excellent.
We recommend warmly this place!

A beautiful environment surrounding the villa. Forest garden with coffee, nutmeg, clover trees to name a few and plenty of flowers, orchids and fruit trees (papaya, goyava, durian…). Not to mention the river down the « lunch spot ». Perfect to refresh the legs after the morning exercise. Service is very welcoming, such generosity from all family members. Food was very good for adults and kids (who loved the beans roasting and crushing activity). Highly recommend.

Peno and his family are the perfect hosts, and his small guesthouse is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Come here after hiking Ijen if you want some rest! The river is beautiful, and Peno treated us like family. We enjoyed meeting people on his tour of coffee plantations and local Javanese life.
