Stayed here and honestly… I think this might be the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. Not “hotel-friendly”, but genuinely warm — which makes a big difference.

Motel is in a great spot close to restaurants and the light rail. Rooms are privately owned so decor and amenities may vary.

Very comfortable accommodation. Managers were kind and helpful. A lovely spot for a family holiday.

The Shores Holiday Apartments Mackay hosted the three Adjudicators for the 2026 Queensland Highland Dancing Championships.

Belmoral Corporate Suites is a fantastic choice for those who value amenities. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the on-site gym on the ground floor is incredibly well equipped.

Affordable, easy checkin/check out, had to eat at the metropole on Palmer as the cafe isn’t open for dinner but that was literally right next door and is always good food.

Me and my daughter stayed at the Royal pacific for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay there and it was easily accessible due to the fact we were going in and out to an event.

I stayed here with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. The rooms were clean and tidy and we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub each night which was cleaned every morning.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
The apartment was all we could ask for and more — spotlessly clean.

Had a wonderful winter stay here this past week.

I had a wonderful stay at Emerald Gardens Motel & Apartments. The property is exceptionally clean, hygienic, comfortable, and very well maintained.

Absolutely loved the experience in this beautiful cottage nestled deep within the rainforest yet part of a larger property and less than 10 minutes to Kuranda.

We arrived after 5pm and reception was closed, but used the code to get our key for the room. They had thoughtfully turned the a/c on so the room was nice and cool.

Tidy room with clean facilities. Close to the work sites and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was well presented and well portioned for the price.

Stayed here for a night with my son travelling through and was pleasantly surprised with the place, couldn't fault a thing, the place was spotless and very comfortable.

We spent 5 weeks in Claremont for work. And this was by far the most comfortable hotel to stay in and the beds were heaven sent after a 12 hour shift.

Great location close to Coles supermarket, hotels, restaurants, the Tin Shed. The unit was a good size for the two of us, we enjoyed eating and drinking sitting out on the balcony.

Location: Main St of Port Douglas set back behind shops. So quiet. Perfect for a couple, walking distance to everything! Self-contained air conditioned 1 brm apartment that has everything you need.

I've been to Pt Douglas a number of times and this is by far best place I've stayed at. Location is within a 2 min stroll to macrossan st and about 5 minute walk to beach.

My sister and I stayed in Apartment 10 at Marina Terraces for a girls’ weekend away and we couldn’t have been happier. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed.

Great hotel about 10min away from downtown (CBD) Port Douglas. International and friendly staff.

Resort was nicely landscaped and laid out so that most people overlooked the pool and/or the rock pools, so the view was peaceful and welcoming.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms and the location was excellent. A short walk to The Empire Theatre and Grand Central.

The bed is very comfy. Environment is very quiet. The view is peaceful. Staff are very friendly. We enjoy our stay!

We recently stayed once again at Pumicestone Blue Resort at the same 2 bedroom superior view apartment for a week. We had a great time once again.

I visit Caloundra about twice a year and its mine and my husband’s favourite place to visit.

Lovely resort in a great location. The units are all individually owned so vary in what they offer.

We stayed here last weekend, the weekend before Cyclone Alfred, for our annual family weekend.

The amenities are cleaned daily and are always spotless.

For the most part a good experience. The staff were friendly the place was really cool with goof views of the city amazing kitchen and even a cinema and pool. South bank was a short walk away.

Busy yet very quiet room of 6, good cafe/bar, very helpful staff. Lots of open outdoor space, lots of people enjoying themselves without disrupting or disturbing early to bed sleepers.

A very last minute stay! After checking out of our horrific first hostel we swiftly booked YHA Brisbane for a few nights stay and it was the best decision we could’ve made.

Ok location 10 mins walk to Roma street station and coaches. CBD 15 min bus.
Large clean modern hostel with friendly helpful staff. Nice rooftop pool.
