Great hostel with a really friendly atmosphere! The rooms were clean, kitchen and bathrooms too.

This is a great hostel to stay at in Cairns. While a bit farther out compared to the other Mad Monkey locations in Cairns, the CBD and Cairns Central are still within walking distance.

By far the best Hostel. Free laundry, free Beach towels. Bed is amazing, really Comfy. Only down side is that I am 6.7‘ tall and the beds are to small for me. But that is a me Problem.

Always stay here when I come back to cairns.
The hostel is in a great location, walking distance to everything in the city. Theres a good social atmosphere with events on most days of the week.

I’ve been staying hete since March and honestly, it’s hard to leave. Mad Monkey is such a social hostel with chill vibes. The common area is nice to meet people and the balcony is perfect to relax.

Had a great time at beachside baacpackers with Gregg, Dave and the team.
The private room was extremely comfortable and very clean.

Great location. Traveling on motorcycles. Parking was available. We had a private room in the house next door. Very close to everything.

Great stay at Dreamtime lodge.
It’s a small cosy hostel a short walk from Woolworths, the city centre and public transport.

Can’t fault Dreamtime at all, we had a lovely stay.
Room was perfect. Nice double bed and it felt spacious with a good fan. A/C is $1 for 6 hours of use.

Had a great stay at the lodge, comfy beds and pillows, free breakfast and a pool! Highly recommend the platypus tour and the wallaby sunrise with Michelle!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Everything is very clean since housekeeping staff is constantly around.

Didn’t stay at the pub but had a meal there after cycling the BVRT. The service staff were fantastic always clearing our table when they could. The food was really well done and came out quickly.

Found this place while staying at the free camp. Wife & I have been keen to get back for a Parmi & they didnt disapoint.

We have never stayed at a backpackers before and were very pleasantly surprised. It was comfortable and beautifully quiet and peaceful.

While we only stayed for one night as a travelling stop over, we found the accommodation covered all things needed, bedding was comfortable, room was clean and tidy, late check in was explained well

Very good experience. The staff is very nice (hello Brian) and helpul and you can borrow some boards to surf which is very pleasant. I recommand.

Very cute hostel, pool and outdoor showers are unique. The whole decor is adorable, staff were helpful in giving us info!

To put it simply, this is the best Hostel in Australia & potentially the world.
It is safe, beautifully decorated, spotless and just the most welcoming environment you can image.

Of all the hostels I've stayed at during my travels, this has been my absolute favourite so far.

I had an amazing stay at Cool Bananas. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was super relaxed and welcoming. The boss Scott was very friendly and so was his dog.

Very nice hostel, with good staff that are very friendly and keen on making you feel home from the first moment. We stayed for 4 weeks because we were working close by, and had a very good time.

It was an excellent experience living here!

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were amazing and the location is beautiful. It’s kept very clean and there is a cute bar and cafe in the hostel.

Great little pub. The Ben's chicken races was great, and the kids loved it. The only let down was the bathrooms. Broken shower head, and broken handles, and missing windows on toilet windows.

What an amazing experience we had. From the bus collecting us and our pup to being greeted by two big gorgeous friendliest dogs. Such a great dog friendly welcoming.

Good location, safe, clean and the reception staff are simply top tier. Seem to be mostly long termers staying there but as a passing through tourist I found it to be just fine.

For the most part a good experience. The staff were friendly the place was really cool with goof views of the city amazing kitchen and even a cinema and pool. South bank was a short walk away.

Busy yet very quiet room of 6, good cafe/bar, very helpful staff. Lots of open outdoor space, lots of people enjoying themselves without disrupting or disturbing early to bed sleepers.

More like a guest house. Quaint and clean with comfy beds. Various common areas inside and outside. A small but functional kitchen and very clean showers and bathroom area.

Hi. Absolutely love this place. Clean, the room space, the service, smiling and welcoming employees, it means a lot that you don't meet anyone who seems like they don't care about their job.

Breeze is the most clean, great hostel with great people at reception to help you with any enquiries. They also accommodate and cater to older travellers which is brilliant.
