Great green park with good size sites. They spend a lot of time making sure this park is lush with green grass. There's plenty of trees for shade, a nice pool area and a large camp kitchen.

Peaceful and very well maintained park on the edge of town and next to the golf course. A piece of date slice as a welcome with the park map. Staff extremely friendly.

An exceptional stay from start to finish. We were welcomed with warmth and generosity that went far beyond standard hospitality.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We were driving through and stopping the night with floods around. Receptionist was super helpful and gave us some advice about our route the next day.

Coffee and slushie machine in reception. 10/10. Loved the way the toilet was separate.

Amazing shower, comfortable beds, quiet room, handy guest kitchen (but best with your own tools). No bedside lamps, though, which was a little unfortunate.

Concise menu that lets you choose from the classics without overwhelming / over complicated choices. The staff were friendly, and treated us like everyday locals (was my first time there).

Very accommodating as we needed to arrive after 7pm. We camped, amenities very clean.

We stayed 3 nights at this caravan park. Beautifully maintained grounds with green grass around each site. Concrete slabs for each powered site. The owner expertly guides you into your caravan site.

Friendly staff, quiet spot and comfortable rooms. The staff had great recommendations for places for dinner and things to do in town.

Can't speak towards the accommodation as I was only a guest visitor to the restaurant. I would go as far as giving a 10 out of 10 score to the meal.

This is my preferred 'go to' if stopping over in CT. The beds are really comfy. The rooms are nothing fancy, but are clean. Location is a plus. The front desk is always accomodating.

Charters Towers is a delightful northern Queensland town — we were visiting the town on our way through to Cairns. The Country Road Motel is also a delightful place to stay.

Ok, she is a bit tired, but my welcome was great, they could accommodate my van and trailer. Room is clean and well equipped. There are plenty of meal options close by. Very happy traveller.

I’ve been travelling for the last 3 weeks, I’ve stayed in many hotels, motels and van park accommodation along the way.

What a great spacious park. Amazing pool and kids playground. Cabin was modern and well fitted out. Very well maintained older park.

We stayed here last week, the pools were lovely and big drive through sites. But the best bit was the lady (young) in reception! She was amazing, she should get a pay increase!
