This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and tidy and nicely appointed, the staff are friendly with great communication, and well priced too!

We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. Access was good. Bathroom was spacious. Air conditioning and ceiling fans meant a wide choice for comfort. Donna, our host, was cheerful and friendly.

Easy access to rooms, basic but clean — I was told no daily service however my towels were changed daily so — bonus if you need that.
Breakfast bar but no evening meals, pool on location too.

I would definitely stay here again based on the service alone. The rooms were also better than other motels I've stayed at — spacious, super clean (even the carpet! ) and comfy beds.

We recently stayed at the Tropic Coast Motel for one night while my daughter had a specialist medical appointment, and it was exactly what we needed.

Very pleased with my stay. Very welcoming, very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble and very good value for money. Yes, I will be staying there next time!

Lovely little motel. Spacious and clean room. Friendly service. Checked in after hours easily and the lovely staff turned on the aircon ready for our arrival. Definitely recommend. :)

I always choose this property when I am in Mackay for work. It is in a fabulous location and centrally located to all local facilities.

We stay here when we get our car serviced, it is an easy walk for us to the car place, the room is always beautifully presented and lovely and clean, being an ex hotel cleaner I know what to look for

We recently stayed at the Windmill Motel on an overnight stop.

Very welcoming staff. Not the cleanest room u could find and the bathroom is a bit old. Otherwise all functionable appliances with all u need for a night stay.

Very happy with our stay at Shakespeare. We had a one bedroom apartment for two adults two kids. It was very spacious clean and well appointed. The kids like the TV in their bedroom. Beds were comfy.

Perfect stay. Zero hassle checking in, clean rooms, and good parking. The central location is awesome, but the best part was the extremely friendly and helpful personnel.

Great location in the center of town! The staff were so friendly, and my room was spotlessly clean. Perfect for walking to nearby shops and cafes. Highly recommend for a comfortable, central stay!

Had an amazing time here! After a few months of backpacking it was a welcome stop that felt like a hotel rather than a hostel.

An absolutely awesome place to stay.

Dining is a great atmosphere and food is 10/10, only problem is it is very noisy inside. No soft furnishings to soak up the noise. Stone floor, concrete walls, windows closed.

Great location and a well run, clean and tidy caravan park. Staff are friendly and experienced. A beautiful vista from the beach end overlooking nearby islands.

Very clean and well equipped apartment. Absolutely everything we needed and so easy to walk out the back gate to the promenade walk to Caneland. We’ll definitely return.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Nice big apartment with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The pool and BBQ areas were both fabulous and well used. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the two bedroom unit, which was enormous. Full kitchen, laundry and decent beds. Modern TV'S with all the apps, which actually work and ok Wi-Fi.

We had our private function in The Bistro and couldn't have been happier with The Met as a venue.
Staff are organised, willing to assist you and give great advice.
Food platters are huge and fresh.

The staff were lovely, super helpful with the booking process and very accommodating with our late check-in. The room was nicely furnished with a modern beachy feel, we really enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed our overnight stay, very well appointed room, clean, had everything including being big enough to have two comfortable chair's to watch the TV with.

Quite little park, good size powered sites and easy to reverse your vans into.
The splash park was under repair when we where there but the pools where in clean and refreshing.

We stayed here during our road trip with my husband, our two young kids, and our two dogs. The facilities were clean, and the beds were spacious and comfortable.

Travelling for work, and got one of the last rooms in the budget section, usually used by workers. It was clean and comfortable, and had a good nights sleep.

We were very impressed with the large room, spacious ensuite, laundry facilities, desk, large balcony and generous breakfast.

Very clean and easy secure parking which fit my 2.22m high vehicle. Bit pricey but definitely very comfortable.

Warm welcome greeting. Free parking. Clean room which also had a kitchen with stove top as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

We recently stayed at Mantra Mackay Harbour for an overnight break to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish.

The room was in perfect conditions, really good housekeeping. Also the owners were really nice with us! Highly recommend it!

Been a few times now, great staff, great rooms, clean, location great, I do and have recommended galaxy motor inn to others.

Close to where we needed to be. Room was clean, bed comfy and so tp the pillows. Road is very busy and noisy at night with trucks but overall would probably stay again.

Stayed at Country Plaza Motor Inn in Mackay for an overnight stop and couldn’t fault it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed however some colour would be nice.

Reception was great, lovely to deal with. Choice of room types. Room cost was extremely good value. Room was very clean, A. C. Worked well. Bed very comfortable.

The continental breakfast is great value with a pancake maker, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. The select dinner menu includes pizza, parmi and amazing rib fillet steak and is extremely well priced.

This is a good family establishment. Have stayed here several times and Deepak and his family are always welcoming.
