Mackay hotels with breakfast

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and tidy and nicely appointed, the staff are friendly with great communication, and well priced too!

We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. Access was good. Bathroom was spacious. Air conditioning and ceiling fans meant a wide choice for comfort. Donna, our host, was cheerful and friendly.

Fantastic hotel, great 1 bedroom apartment. Only stayed one night and an impromptu booking as we did intend to drive 3 hours home but as we were tired we decided to stay in Mackay. So glad we did.

Easy access to rooms, basic but clean — I was told no daily service however my towels were changed daily so — bonus if you need that.
Breakfast bar but no evening meals, pool on location too.

I would definitely stay here again based on the service alone. The rooms were also better than other motels I've stayed at — spacious, super clean (even the carpet! ) and comfy beds.

Diane was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable!
Would recommend and I'll be staying again in future.

Lovely little motel. Spacious and clean room. Friendly service. Checked in after hours easily and the lovely staff turned on the aircon ready for our arrival. Definitely recommend. :)

We recently stayed at the Windmill Motel on an overnight stop.

Very welcoming staff. Not the cleanest room u could find and the bathroom is a bit old. Otherwise all functionable appliances with all u need for a night stay.

Very happy with our stay at Shakespeare. We had a one bedroom apartment for two adults two kids. It was very spacious clean and well appointed. The kids like the TV in their bedroom. Beds were comfy.

Great location near the beach, great restaurant on sites with fantastic meals, plus the menu has just been updated. Exceptional service, rooms are a bit older, but still comfortable.

Perfect for a short stay. The staff were amazing 🤩 close to the beach with a great balcony.

The Aldi across the street is also very convenient and the wakeboarding park is super fun!

I stayed at the Mackay Adveture Lodge for 2 nights. The lodge (kitchen, lounge, rooms and bathrooms) is super clean and the staff is amazing.

Close to the highway, but can’t hear the traffic.

Staff paid attention to my needs and were very caring.

Travelling for work, and got one of the last rooms in the budget section, usually used by workers. It was clean and comfortable, and had a good nights sleep.

We were very impressed with the large room, spacious ensuite, laundry facilities, desk, large balcony and generous breakfast.

Lovely updated rooms. Super clean. Easy booking, check in and departure. Cool strip lighting in rooms. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, quiet air conditioners.

Stopped here with family on road trip up the coast. Was one of our favourite Motels to stop in. Clean, comfortable and amazingly hosted.

Been a few times now, great staff, great rooms, clean, location great, I do and have recommended galaxy motor inn to others.

Close to where we needed to be. Room was clean, bed comfy and so tp the pillows. Road is very busy and noisy at night with trucks but overall would probably stay again.

The continental breakfast is great value with a pancake maker, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. The select dinner menu includes pizza, parmi and amazing rib fillet steak and is extremely well priced.

This is a good family establishment. Have stayed here several times and Deepak and his family are always welcoming.

Got the share plate. So much for just 2 people! Delicious! Pork bites, meatballs, arancini balls, onion rings, wedges, chicken skewers, garlic bread, wedges.

Comfortable budget room. Has everything you need including cutlery, bowls and microwave if, like me, you are happy just to get takeaway.

I stay here regularly for work trips and it’s always good value. The owners are friendly and the rooms, while basic, are clean and have what you need such as a kettle and microwave.

Room bigger than most, comfy bed & pillows, shower pressu10/10, very friendly & helpful at late, last minute check-in. Complementary water in the fridge even.

This is an old hotel and the room and furniture have seen better days. Importantly though, it was clean and the bed was clean and comfortable. The AC worked fine and the shower was hot.

Arif manager has come n fixed my TV late tonight. Nothing was a problem to him. Also I could not find my cups but guess what in my drawer. I had a senior moment.

Friendly service, stayed in one bedroom arpt, 6th floor. Very clean & tidy, mini bar in room, room service. 2 Tv's, only negative is no small table & chairs on balcony.

Manager and staff excellent don’t hesitate to stay, very helpful with my stays points. Great membership rewards program. Excellent free parking, central location, close to good restaurants in cbd.

Good central location, easy to find, easy access to the city centre for a meal, clean quiet and comfortable. All we needed for an overnight stay driving Brissy to Cairns.

Great size room and bathroom (19) surprisingly quiet considering proximity to the road.
All amenities provided were excellent.
Washing up liquid would be helpful for dishes.

Friendly staffs and very helpful, room was clean and wonderful. I will return for sure.

Ive walked into a clean fresh room each time and a friendly face at reception.
