I always choose this property when I am in Mackay for work. It is in a fabulous location and centrally located to all local facilities.

We stay here when we get our car serviced, it is an easy walk for us to the car place, the room is always beautifully presented and lovely and clean, being an ex hotel cleaner I know what to look for

We had the two bedroom unit, which was enormous. Full kitchen, laundry and decent beds. Modern TV'S with all the apps, which actually work and ok Wi-Fi.

Absolutely outstanding service from the manager Paddy and his wife. They really went the extra mile.
Rooms are spotlessly clean, very helpful and cheerful cleaning staff.

Above and beyond, beautiful service to ensure myself and children were comfortable and ensuring a good nights rest. Rooms were comfortable with modern finishes.

Very clean and easy secure parking which fit my 2.22m high vehicle. Bit pricey but definitely very comfortable.

Mantra Mackay has beautiful morning views overlooking the marina which was definitely the highlight of the stay. Sitting out in the morning with the water views was really peaceful and relaxing.

It was a great place to stay, the team from front desk to housekeeping were wonderful. If I had any issues or questions they were quick to assist.

The room was in perfect conditions, really good housekeeping. Also the owners were really nice with us! Highly recommend it!

The property and location are great. Access to local beach. Cant swim but still nice to walk. City is only about 5 mins away. House is well set out and equipped.

I have stayed here many times before. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. It is so convenient being located right at the airport.

All Rooms are pretty decent sized.
A good staff roster let down by 1 bad apple who happens to be there majority of the time.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Alara Motor Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely amazing.

Highly recommend. Facilities are spotless, staff helpful and polite. Jimmy D's restaurant serves great food, is right next door and has a dog friendly area overlooking the pool.

My husband and I recently had lunch in the new beer garden at the Boomerang Hotel, and we were so impressed.
The food was absolutely excellent, fresh, generous portions, and beautifully presented.

Living amongst traffic with a building not meant to cope with it. Residents are given the option to park in the middle of the street, yet are readily used by visitors as a free parking option.

The bar staff and manager were so friendly which I would come back for alone let alone the food being great value for money.

I recently stayed here and had the pleasure of staying in room 100 I enjoyed it and I love the atmosphere and the way the room was set and everything was clean and comfortable was fantastic.

Arrived in mackay around 10.30pm last flight and was greeted by one of the nicest night auditors. It felt like being at home.

Loved the accommodation and everything that offered.
One comment for the admin is to check the locks since they are digital it took a while for us to learn how to open it — faulty contacts.

Everything was satisfactory; however, the air conditioning in room 109 was not cooling sufficiently.

Our favourite part of Laffos businesses is the unique food options where they take one think like a common eggs benny, or pizza and provide many interesting variants.
