Beachside Boutique Motel Mackay

Needs new bed. Both of us got a sore back for days later it’s still sore. They are hard have no give and we could feel the springs. Even through the extra mattress topper. Worst bed and I have travelled a awful lot.
Shower needs a door water goes everywhere and better water pressure or a better shower head.
Bed needs positioning at other end of room to take advantage of the aircon And it should not be under a bulky picture so you can’t sit up and watch the TV that’s located in front of it. Chairs need to be swapped to that area.
Found it odd there was no dish washing products no cloth dish liquid or tea towel to use to clean the dishes used.
Liked the room to spread suitcases.

Great place to stay. Donna was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and roomy. The toilet is away from the bed and living area, which I thought was good. The location is lovely and quiet, away from the main roads. The is also a restaurant across the road which was handy.

We loved our stay at Beachside Boutique, the room was absolutely lovely, plenty of room, great location, park and beach straight across the road, We ordered breakfast which was very nice. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting Mackay.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and tidy and nicely appointed, the staff are friendly with great communication, and well priced too! Quiet spot with no road or aircraft noise like the Nebo Road establishments nearby. Also just across the road from the beach which is quiet and fantastic for a walk.

We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. Access was good. Bathroom was spacious. Air conditioning and ceiling fans meant a wide choice for comfort. Donna, our host, was cheerful and friendly.

Had a lovely few days here on our travels along Queensland… the rooms were absolutely spotless and the beds were so comfy. All made even better by the lovely Donna who went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous 👌

Had a lovely stay, the rooms were excellent, beds really comfy, clean and had everything you needed, The rooms were cleaned daily and Donna Johnston couldn't do enough for us. Gave great recommendations about where to eat and local things to experience xx.

What a beautiful little motel, from the beginning Donna was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the Oceans restaurant across the road also served up a beautiful meal. We will definitely stay again 😊

What a great find! This place is immaculately maintained, right down to the robot mower that was trimming the grass the evening we checked in. Tina was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and very clean. We enjoyed holiday sleep ins with the blackout curtains. Great position with the park and beach across the road, and great restaurant a stone's throw away.

So this is a great little motel. I've been staying in mackayfor over 5 years now and this one is just a really good self container unit, little stove in their cooking little meals, very quick access to the beach and then also if you want to actually go across the road to a restaurant that is very easy walking and everything lf recommended great clean rooms, and as I said, self contained very clean.

Spacious, quite modern room. Very clean and tidy and well equipped. Good restaurant across the road. Also lovely beach walks. Very friendly service. Our go-to stopover for our regular trips up north.

Definitely going to be the place I stay again when visiting Mackay. Rooms would have to be the cleanest room I have stayed in. Check in was easy & staff very helpful & polite. Best night sleep.

While the firm beds were supportive the comfort level of snuggliness of the mattress topper left a lot to be desired. The top of the mattress was too hard to have comfortable sleep. The room was easy to move and function in — although a sofa or lounge chair of some sort would have been good instead of just upright in kitchen chair or reclined on bed. Location was perfect. Nice quiet area. Welcoming.

Beachside Boutique Motel is ideal for business travellers, the rooms are largee and airy, very clean with comfortable beds. Pillows and a kitchenette. Great for short or long stays. The customer service is always excellent.

Loved our stay. So clean, quiet and welcoming. Great communication and a nice walk in the beach just across the road. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

It is a nice place to stay. Generous size of rooms, extremely friendly staffs.
The location is great to the beach and park, but not good for shopping.

All steps of booking to check-in were friendly, quick & professional. My room was very nice & quiet. Location is exceptional — close to town centre, beach, walking paths and bike paths as well as walking distance to Great Barrier Reef Arena & sports precinct! Winner alround!
