Chidori Court is a very nice place! Very clean and spacious apartments with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Chidori Court is conveniently located between the beach front and the Tedder Ave shopping and food strip. Very short walking distance to both. And short walking distance to the Surf Club which offers great value dining. We would definitely like to stay there again if we're ever at the Gold Coast in the future.

Clean and comfortable. Close to beach. Lovely courtyard pool. Not high rise so quite welcoming apartments.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chidori. The location was fantastic — close to the beach, cafes and park, yet it was nice and quiet overnight. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments were perfect for our family — clean, comfortable and spacious. The gardens are well maintained, and relaxing in the heated pool and BBQ area was a great way to wind down. The management were really friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable when we enquired about local attractions for young kids. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back at Chidori Court next time we visit the Gold Coast :)

Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Some minor issues with room on check in which were promptly and cheerfully addresses by the apartment managers. Well appointed rooms which appear to have been recently renovated within a three storey building. There are no lifts but unless you have mobility issues, all rooms within easy access to Reception and car park. Rooms are only serviced if you stay more than a week and rooms are expected to be left with not so much as a dirty dish or a cleaning charge will be applied. Good location, short walk to light rail, restaurants right at the end of the street. Not too near to busy area of Surfers Paradise but close enough to get there easily. Free Parking is offered. We will definitely book again next time we are travelling to Gold Coast.

Love this place for a relaxing stay. Great accommodation at a very reasonable price. My 4th straight year here and will continue to return as the hosts are wonderful and the accommodations super comfortable.

An excellent, stress-free stay! Helpful staff, accomodated an early check in & late check out where possible, assisted with additional car parks, modern fittings in spacious apt, good price, quiet & highly convenient location. Will definitely book here again.

Very good Yum Cha on the Gold Coast!

Great place to stay 2 min from beach everything is clean and full amenities. Pool and spa available not too many people so it is not crowded. BBQ works great. Really nice place to stay nothing is a problem.

Place smells musty. Pictures on the website somehow make it look nicer than it actually is. Look out if you've got a heavy suitcase — there's no elevator.

Apartment 10 is super, quiet, close to pool and beach. Good for kids.

Large rooms, comfy beds and close to the beach.

Great little getaway. Some of the rooms are old, but well maintained, clean and the facilities are good.

I booked this hotel for my birthday and stayed with a few friends. I was supposed to stay there for two nights and the first night we all had such a bad sleep on the stiff, rock hard mattresses we decided to check out the next morning and see if they could move us to a different room or find a solution to the bedding, as none of us were prepared to sleep on them another night. I called at 8am and spoke to the after hours staff and they were helpful, hoping that the hotel manager could find a solution. I didn't hear back from him so I called again at 10am, as we were all around the corner at the color run. Not only did he know about my complaint, not calling me back, he then refused to find a solution for the bedding or move us to a different room. I even offered that we could go from a 2 bed to a 1 bed. I then explained that my partner who was on cancer treatment was coming down for my birthday and I didn't want to subject him to such a bad night sleep and sore back. The property manager basically said "too bad, there's nothing I can do". Upset that this was his answer I asked if I could return the keys and get a refund for that one night stay so I could book elsewhere. He then refused this as well, saying that I booked online so too bad, that's his policy! I called back in the afternoon to speak to the after hours staff again, in tears since it had ruined my birthday and the plans I had the next day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great for families. Quite location. Pool and spa nice and warm. Walking distance to beach (with lifeguards), and Teddy Ave which is a great coffee/ restaurant area. Would come again.

I called after hours, and they did everything in their power to help me make a reservation. I found them very friendly and prompt.

Great location. The apartment itself was clean and the furniture was comfortable. It looked a little tired was all. I was a little disappointed in what was provided. For the price it would have been nice not to have paid for internet. Additionally, my understanding was that it was a serviced apartment. I wasn't expecting daily service but being provided with "essentials" on a daily basis would have been nice. So too being provided with handtowels. Overall, I would recommend, but not having reliable fast internet was a real turnoff, particularly when you have teenagers.

Very nice building great location, close for the beach and restaurants, interior is a little tired but still comfortable. Would recommend to others.

Lovely place to stay. Clean, beautifully maintained gardens, and the owners are quick to oblige if a problem arose. 2 min Walk to restaurants and 5 min to beach.

An affordable place in surfers paradise that is close to the beach, place is clean, although the ceiling fans are noisy.

Great place to stay. Stayed there a week in June 2015 and have 3 groups joining me this year. Excellent 2 bedroom apartments in a great location and nice and easy walk to Tedder avenue for some wonderful meals.

2nd stay. Great location if u have kids close to beach and well maintained and quiet location which is a big issue in surfers.

We first stayed at Chidori court three years ago and haven't thought of going anywhere else. Lovely people and in a fabulous spot. Can't wait for our visit this year.

Thank you for an amazing Easter long weekend. My family and I had a great stay at Chidori. The facilities are fantastic and management a pleasure to deal with.

Unfortunately stayed from 17 to 22 November 2015. Un friendly when checking in. no airconditioning. the ceiling fan in the second bedroom only worked on full speed, so you either didnt sleep because of the heat or the noise. We had a scoopon deal, I would shiver to have paid full price. That is probably the reason there was no air conditioning. not even a hair dryer in the unit (47) we had to ask for one. 1 and a 1/2 toilet rolls for a family of 4 for 5 nights. They had the cheek to charge $2 for 15 mins for the internet computer in reception, outdated running system and the speed of dial up, surely this day and age a resort type of accommodation can have wi fi for people staying. So many rules and threats to charge you extra if you dont comply with their rules, yes you cannot stay if you do not supply a credit card for them to swipe upon check in. Will not go back!

The room we stayed in was extremely old, run down, and dirty! Very disappointed! Will not return back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chidori Court. Great location. Easy walk to Tedder Ave for dining & convenience store & the beach. The apartment was well furnished, & clean. The whole complex was great, swimming pool, barbecue area with beautifully laid out court yards & garden. The hosts Trish & Graham Angus where most welcoming & made our stay stress free. We will definitely be going back.

Chidori court was an excellent experience for me I loved the hotel so much. The service was awesome but its wasn't the best service ever. I also loved the spa and pool, really really clean. Its spectacular how you can see the view of the beach on the balconey, how cool is that!. The one thing you need to improve on was the parking ground. There were old strolkers left there and lots of other stuff. Any ways I rate it a out of 5.
