Only giving it 3 stars based on the friendly service, spaciousness of the apartment and proximity to the beach. Bathrooms were outdated and mouldy; one a/c unit for the whole place which is barely hanging on the wall; dead lock broken; the dryer didn't work… Didn't like this place at all.

Stunning water views and beach across road. Beautiful and spacious apartment and immaculately clean. Local bus service across road and great coffee at Hot Shot cafe Tedder Street shops. Indian food at Goa Fusion is also delicious. Our only minor issue was limited provision of toilet paper and no paper towelling in kitchen (local super markets very pricey) Kerry and Gail.

Cancelled our booking due to the fact that we had a wedding to attend at 2.30pm and the check in time was 2pm. Rang to see if we could book in an hour earlier and was told we had to pay an extra $50. Really? 1 hour early! Lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful. Apartments don't even have free Wi-Fi. Is customer service really that hard? We rebooked an apartment around the corner and an early check in was not an issue. Free Wi-Fi as well. Would never look at staying here ever! It's not like we were asking for any unreasonable request.
