Dirty, and dangerous! Next morning, while removing sheet from rollaway bed I found a shard of glass in the bedding. Bathroom had broken tiles, and old dried toothpaste splatter on the back of the door. Addressed with front desk, but we were told the manager was not there, but the manager would call us. That never happened. I called several times, and I could never get an answer.

We stayed here two nights with our large dog. We also had family staying in the same hotel, both with and without pets. The pet rooms have no carpeting which is awesome for traveling with animals. They also have a fenced in dog area behind the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is great, the Mexican restaurant next to the Food Lion was great and you have multiple food options within walking distance. Access to the park is also super easy. The staff was also super friendly.

Staff was friendly considering they were swamped with people running from hurricane Irma. Room was clean and well appointed with a small fridge and microwave. The breakfast was your usual hotel continental breakfast deal but good and well stocked. We had a back side room with pretty views of the woods (pretty much the base of a small mountain) with a grocery store (food lion), and other stores in a plaza right next to the hotel. All in all it was worth the money, I'd stay there again.

This place is nothing fancy but it is a great place to spend the night or a vacation. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again if my travel takes me back to Cherokee.

Great place. A couple minutes drive from the Casino but right in the middle of restaurants. Room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Friendly staff. A very good breakfast buffet. Lots of bikers were there and our room faced the parking lot. Did not hear the bike start up and leave in the morning.

Location was very good. Around food and stores. Was in the middle of everything. Rooms were very clean and serviced everyday.

I enjoyed our stay at Microtel. The beds were the best I have found in any Hotel/Motel. Laid down to take a nap and woke up the next morning. We have no complaint with the staff. Thank you for making our stay the best.

Staff very accommodating. Rooms clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast has wide variety of hot, cold, & fresh foods.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff was very nice and the customer service was impeccable. Our room was nice and had all we needed. Was near the casino and has shuttle service. Good price for a good place to stay. We're going back soon. Also there are so many fast food joints and other restaurants such as Chinese and Mexican within very short walking distance. And a Food Lion practically next door. Book it now or for a good place to stay.

My Friends and I had a great time while outside of the hotel. We just very disappointed to find bed bugs/eggs on one of the beds. Spoke with a Manager who name I shall not post. I was explained that room was checked and it was determined not to be bed bugs. Again, I was sadden to receive that news, but even more sadden to the next person who will lay on that mattress. If the customer is showing information, I believe it's up to the company to investigate fully! However, we were not there to cause trouble. To enjoy a nice girls weekend trip. Anyhow, we have decided never to stay at Microtel Inn again. How about you!

Great place to stay! All of the staff we encountered were very polite and professional. Will be staying there again when we go back to Cherokee.

Staff friendly, last year had shuttle run at 4, this year Alice Cooper comedy didn't run til 6, the bathroom sink would not drain properly, the shower did not works you could get a bath, had to rinse tub first, I thought I had gotten room with refrig I guess I was wrong last year 5 star nope not this yea unless u went on van driver n take in person.

Adequate. Shuttle service to and from Casino until 3 am. Bring your own pillow… pillows are either lumpy or hard as a rock.

The room was inviting and spacious for a handicap room. Quick and friendly front desk service too.

Price was very reasonable and the rooms weren't bad. I would definitely stay there again.

I love this place! Took our 6 children and 2 cats. Clean, safe, and friendly. We will stay here every visit! We have been to all the hotels and campgrounds in this town and no one beats this place.

Always clean rooms and a friendly staff. The free continental breakfast gets you back on the road fast!

We reserved the whirlpool suite and it was clean, comfortable, and a lot of fun. The front desk people were friendly and efficient. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!

Sink and shower drains slowly. Overall — good stay. Anakeesta. Gotta see.

I arrived late but it was no problem the lady at the front desk very helpful when getting into my room it was very nice clean and just what I wanted. They also have breakfast which was delicious. The prices are fair for this place.

Decent budget hotel with easy shuttle access to casino. Good breakfast and very nice desk staff. Shuttle driver was great too and may have been psychic since he always seemed to be waiting for us where ever we were.

Very clean, great staff. Good breakfast, just the biscuits are very hard. I would stay again.

Clean rooms and amenities. Good Continental breakfast. Easy to get in and out of. Has motorcycle parking but the cagers can't read the sign.

We stayed here back in May for Memorial Day weekend and had a better experience than we were expecting. We had an issue with our toilet and shower and it was addressed during the second day of our stay but we were given an additional discount at check out for the inconvenience. Very friendly staff that really cares about the guests. They also have a shuttle that goes to and from the casino so you don't have to drive which is awesome. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short drive to most area attractions. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, very upto date, well furnished, nice people close to all eminities, free breakfast ect.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. AC was not on when we got in the room and it took almost 12 hours for the room to cool off to a comfortable temp. Breakfast was good. They allowed our animals with minimal restriction. Employees were friendly.

Hotel pictures on website are very decieving. Hotel not nearly as nice as on website. Housekeeping could stand to use some classes on cleaning (hence sweep the room before you mop! ) Rooms were run down falling apart. We had a non-smoking room, which it was you could tell but people were smoking right outside our window and the smoke came in through the air conditioner unit. Have designated areas for smoking away from windows. Breakfast consisted of pretty much nothing. This hotel needs a redo. We will not be back.

Pretty nice hotel for our 1 night stay to Cherokee. Bathroom could use some improvement as the tub didn't drain very well and the water wasn't all that hot. Front desk staff (Mark was his name, I believe) was great. He was working super hard by himself the night we were there. Loved the shuttle bus to the casino; very convenient, and the driver, Ken, was nice as well. I would recommend to others and visit again!

These people made me feel at home. I had a wonderful sweet, the breakfast was pretty good, although I couldn't find cream cheese! Lol. They even have e a shuttle to the casino for free until 3am!

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was great and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Cherokee.

To start off, the desk staff was helpful, resourceful, and respectful. There was one desk staff member inparticular who did and was willing to do anything thing to make us and make our stay rememberabl and that memeber was Mark. (If Mark is not a manager, I feel a promotion is well in order. Mark's main concern was for his guest to feel the most comfortable as if we were at home. He was awesome in giving The rest of the staff were positive and so helpful. I would stay here in the future.

Small but clean. Great room for a short getaway. There's no microwave or refrigerator but when you're out enjoying Cherokee you don't need one. Everyone was very nice and helpful. You can also bring your pet if you want.

The hot tub suite was wonderful. A real plus that it was an actual hot tub, in the room, and not just a large tub in the bathroom. Friendly staff also ensures I will visit again. The breakfast was purported to be until 10 a. M. But we walked into the area right at 10 to find everything already cleaned up so we just got coffee.

The have a policy of no local people. Wtf! You want a break from the kids. Not here they hate our community.

This was the only pet friendly hotel I could find and it was better than expected. The hotel room had nice wood lamenant floors so I didn't have to worry about nasty carpet, fleas, etc. There was a large area in back along with a separate fenced areas for my dogs. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and the staff was friendly. It was also in a good location. This is my 2nd visit to Cherokee but if I ever go back I will definitely stay here again.

Horrible hotel. First there were bugs in the bathroom, and then there was no A/C when we got back from the casino. The room was supposed to be free because we used our Wyndham rewards points, and then they still charged my credit card. The front desk clerk Lewis had no idea what he was doing (besides smoking out front both times we came for help). After calling at least 3 different times to get in touch with the only person that could help us (rob) he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, and had terrible customer service skills. Stay anywhere else in cherokee!

Friendly and approachable staff. Very clean, great location. Quite surroundings. Fenced in Dog area and plenty of surrounding grassy area. Will stay here again.

After check in we found our room had no mini fridge or microwave when I asked I was told only in the suites so for 139.99 all you get is a bed tube TV and thats it they did offer a shuttle to the casino breakfeast was ok then after check out I was told that I could have gotten a mini fridge if I asked oh well I guess I didnt ask right person.

Hair in the sheets from last people who stayed. They gave keys to our room to people checking in and they walked in on us at 1:40 am while we were asleep and was very alarming. Said they made a mistake.

Everytime you ask the front desk staff something they "don't know. " Very annoying.

Stayed one night. No problems. Good free breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst hotel experience ever. Front desk clerk Rori was rude. Yelled at customers and at us. We stayed over 4th of july weekend and she cursed at us. Elizabeth Mason, the manager, was rude as well and hung up on us when we went to complain about our stay. We then contacted the owner and he told us the fault was on us for being treated this way. Do not stay here.
