These people completely ripped us off for $175.00 worth of charges to our debit card after we checked out. Upon our inquiry of why he accused us of damaging a mini blind on a door that was 4 feet off the ground when our pets were a two pound Chihuahua and a 4 pound one. He also accused us of making a hole in the wall. We absolutely did no damage to his property. On top of everything else the bed was brick hard with no box springs, the couch was about 20 years old and very uncomfortable! The television was so screwy that you could barely use it. I recommend you find another place to spend your hard earned money and time.

We stayed in one of the Villas w/ kitchenette. It was very spacious and has a backporch overlooking the Soco River. Great atmosphere for families or just a get away. Staff is very friendly.

The cabins by the river are spacious and clean. The motel staff is quite friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're right at home. Family friendly and has multiple outside activities such as corn hole, walks by the river and several fire pits. I highly recommend this get-a-way for business or pleasure as it is a very relaxing place.

We stayed in the motel not the cabin. It was filthy! The bathroom walls were covered with droplets and runs of what looked to be urine and blood. Disgusting! We told management at 9am. We went out for the day and came back after 4PM. Room was still filthy. We reported to management again, he was not apologetic or concerned with the issue. I would not recommend this motel to anyone! It appears that the cabins are taken care of fairly well, the motel is filthy and rundown.

Been there twice. Both very pleasent stays. Close to the action too!

I wanted to post this review and let everyone know how awesome this motel and cabins are! We were there for Labor Day weekend and it turned in to 2 1/2 weeks?!? My dad had a gall bladder attack and was transported to ICU. We live 2 1/2 hours away so our only choice was to stay in the mountains until my dad was released. There was no transporting him! The management at the motel was so nice! We were able to pay a couple days at the time not knowing from day to day what was going to happen. He penciled us in for an extended stay and worked with us and everyone there was so nice! I want to thank everyone for being so nice up there! I hope to visit next year!

The cabins were clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable. The view from the back of the cabin was right on the water. You could fish off the back porch it was so close to the water.

It’s such a wonderful place to stay I recommend you stay in the TP suite.

Good value. Was just a trailer but made to have a cabin feel. Felt private even though cabins were close.

The people where really nice. Please check out the Indian dances. Good music good people wonderful time. Will definitely be back.

Neat and very nice cabins to stay in, rooms are very clean and up to date. I love that u can sit on the back porch and listen to the water. Very relaxing!

We stayed in one of the villas right next to the river. Beautiful view from the back deck. The villa was quaint and clean. The service was wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here; we are already planning our next trip!

Cabins are pretty cool. Drives you to the casino at 730 and will have cabs pick you up til 2 in the morning. A lot better to stay there for the weekend in terms of the price and they are pet friendly.

The price was low, the rooms were clean, and staff was friendly. They have rocking chairs outside of all the rooms. They have a deal with the casino to ride the bus to the casino and all adults 21 and over with a valid ID receive a free $25 voucher to play on the machines. The have a recreation area set up with badminton, corn hole, picnic tables, torches, chairs, and a fire ring with cut firewood.

I don't like picking on the little man. We're all just trying to get by, and I know that little curbside motels shouldn't be expected to keep up with the bigger names. But I was still disappointed by this motel. The desk man's attitude was unwelcoming and off-putting. There were millipedes crawling all over the tile floor to the bathroom and in the bathtub, and there were German cockroaches (the small invasive ones, where if you see one there are 1000 more you don't see) crawling on the bed and bedside table. I didn't sleep all that well because I felt like at any moment I'd wake up to roaches crawling over me. Additionally, the bathroom sink's cheap pallet wood showed obvious signs of water damage in the form of warped wood, bowing/bulging walls, and rot underneath the sink area. The problem I really have with this place though is price. This was the most expensive hotel I stayed at during my trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway, even compared to places in Boone and Roanoke. Nearing $80 after tax, the motel did *not* live up to the advertised price point. The motel itself looks nothing like the comfy little cabin in the demonstration picture. It's very visibly run down, and I can't understate the bug problem. This is a $40-50 a night motel at best, even with the bug problems taken care of. I feel for the owner. These are difficult & expensive problems to deal with, and I don't want their business to fail. But I still slept in a bed with roaches in it. Please fix these issues.

It was our 1 year anniversary on the 3rd but being on a tight budget we spent 1 night in the hotel and one in a teepee cabin. I give the motel a 1 star as it needs a total update. I give the teepee cabin 10 stars it was such an enjoyable time spent in the cabin. Very clean, had a lot of what you needed to cook and relax, and the creek was a great place to cool off. Plan on renting a cabin for the entire time next year Loved it!

The man at the front desk was very rude! We get into our room only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth in the bathroom I went to the front desk and asked for 2 more towels and 2 wash clothes he acted like it bothered him to go get more I go to take a shower there’s barely any hot water and the water pressure was awful I do not recommend this place at all we will not be back.

What a find! We were traveling with our puppy and knew we wanted a little more room than a hotel room. We’ve been to the casino many times and didn’t know these cabins existed! They also offered transportation to casino, which we didn’t need, but, was great! Such a great set up for our family of four and some room to play fetch to tire our pup out. Also a great grassy area to walk him outside. The room was clean and up to date! We definitely have our place to stay whenever we come up there!

We stayed in a tiny cabin. It was very clean, cozy, and had a great balcony off the back overlooking the river. The hotel part, itself, looks a bit run down. The pool was apparently rendered unusable quite some time ago, which is somewhat of a disappointment to the kids. But, only moments away is the park and public access to the Oconoluftee River, which is a great place for the family.
Across the way from Qualla Motel and Cabins, within sight, are a 24 hour Waffle House, a grocery store, and a bank. Main attractions and downtown Cherokee are just a very few minutes away. Very convenient. Nice staff. Believe it or not, they still use registration cards at the front desk. Quite nostalgic. Great for a quiet small vacation.

My mother, sister-in-law and I were here July 1st and 2nd since we had tickets to a show at the casino. We were very impressed with out room and the people at the front desk. They told us about the Party Bus where you ride it to the casino and you get a voucher for money to spend at the Casino! We told them about our show being at the same time the bus leaves so they bumped up the departure time of the bus. Then when we were done that evening they had free rides back to the hotel and we got to ride in a Limo! Everyone that worked there from the drivers, to the desk, and the maintenance guy that came the second we called were absolutely great and personable. We're already getting the family together and planning our next trip to use the cabins next time! Thanks so much for making our Girls Trip amazing!

I would highly recommend this place, it was cheap but fully equipped! And it was nice, room was great, people were down to earth friendly people, the river in front was awesome, enjoyed my stay 100% will stay here again and recommend to others.
