It’s been an awesome experience!

Not clean at all, beds where horrible felt slings in my back all night and not to mention roaches where around the coffee pot and dead ones on the floor. Not going to stay there ever again.

Dave is a little weasel. He has little. Man syndrome. He the cops on me and the police even called him an a-hole. Check out all the 1 star rating… I counted at least 30 of them… never ever go there again… I travel for work and have stayed in off 30 holiday inns in the past 2 years and this was by FAR the worst ever… breakfast was terrible and I think I even got a bed bug bite… F for failure.

Cleaning there rooms better and not change people more when they get there.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and it was a delightful stay. All of the employees were friendly and very helpful, from the desk clerk to the housekeeping staff. The manager was more than accommodating to our needs. We will definitely recommended your hotel to our friends and stay again in the future. Right on, Holiday Inn!

Great place to stay, and very convenient to walk to the casino. Brandi working the night shift was so sweet and helpful. We came in late and she was very accommodating. The place has been renovated very recently, and the facility is very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to Cherokee for the casino.

Great hotel! We are staying here a week for work, and so far it was really good. The service desk employee was most pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and seem to be newly updated. Breakfast was good, although I was disappointed to see the Styrofoam plates and cups, especially at a location surrounded by natural beauty. Includes a small outdoor pool and work out room. Great location within walking distance of the casino.

Decent place, not sure why the reviews are so low. Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was above average. I would stay again.

This hotel property is an awesome choice for your next day in Cherokee! My family and I found this property to be extremely clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. Not to mention, breakfast is included with your stay. And it's not just pancakes and waffles or Donuts like other hotels. No, breakfast at this property includes, but may not be limited to eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, fruit, juices, Etc, etc! Oh yeah, and you can't forget the cereal for those cereal fans Among Us. Our room was very clean, and very comfortable. The staff at this property was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming! I would personally put this hotel at the top of my list for future stays in Cherokee, and recommend this property to anyone considering or planning a visit to the Cherokee area. This property is very conveniently located in the Cherokee North Carolina area. Excellent Hotel!

Its fine for a single night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful but the rooms we're mediocre and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast ends at 9:30am as well which is early compared to other Holiday Inns.

Very nice hotel with all the perks at a reasonable price. Also had snacks and drinks for sale. They had a decent continental breakfast. Hotel is right across the road from the casino.

It looks and sleeps like a Holiday Inn Express.

Unfriendly to Handicap. Seriously need to enforce Handicap Parking. When mentioned all we got were ridiculous excuses from the guy that some states do not list it on their tags. Mostly Florida plates, 1 Georgia & 1 Maryland plate. Only 1 had any indication of Handicap. The price is high for a two night stay ($426.13)

Very clean but more important the two young adults at the desk were amazing! They had answers, suggestions and more important, a smile. Already recommended to other people.

The rooms are just alright, but the service definitely makes up for it. Enjoying the stay and the convenience being so close to the casino.

Directly across from the casino. Very convenient. Hot breakfast in the morning coffee and tea available throughout the day and night. Nice gym and swimming pool area only to be entered with a key.

I love this place. It's a little more money than other hotels but definitely worth it!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were super clean and towels and beds were fresh and excellent condition. Breakfast was on time, plentiful and there was a good assortment of choices.

Good central location, clean rooms, internet was fast, breakfast was good (could've had more selections). Bed was a bit hard, but still ok. Good and very helpful staff. Good visit!

Very clean and comfortable, and a short walk to the casino. For the price, it's a way better option than staying at the casino. We had some noisy neighbors but it's to be expected given everyone over there is gambling and having a good time. Breakfast provided was the normal sort of fare (fruit, pastries, etc. ). The staff was extremely nice. Would definitely stay again next time.

I stay at holiday inns very frequent and I was not happy with my stay here. The staff was as nice as it could be, the hotel is another case. The signs says smoke free and the third floor smelled of nothing but smoke. 5 star employees 2 star hotel.

The staff was great except the manager David Taylor. Originally we booked this and realized that the dates were incorrect. When I called I talked with Amanda, wonderful lady with a great customer service representation. When I explained my situation with her she informed me that she could not do anything, due to her position, and suggested I contact David Taylor tomorrow in the AM, which should allow me to cancel and receive a refund. I called for Mr. Taylor in the AM and was told he would not be in until after 2 PM. When I called him he said it was too late to cancel and that there was nothing he could do. When I told him what Amanda told me he simply stated that she should have know that he would not be in until after 2 PM. He did let me rearrange my reservation, which I would not have done unless he would not refund me. We visited the hotel on my NEW dates and I must say, the staff was very courteous, I believe under fear of David Taylor's wrath, however the rooms was far less than I expected. I am a Platinum Elite IGH member. I stay 150 days a year with IGH and this was the worse hotel that I have experienced, from a room perspective. The bed was a spring mattress, the coffee maker did not work, the towels were old, the curtains did not shut to close out the sun, this was horrible. The dollar value of what you receive is garbage, don't wast you time or money on this one. Go across the street and stay and Harrah's.

For an IHG property (and across from a very busy casino) I was not impressed w/ my room. The overall features of the property were good. There were 3 let downs for this location (and I spend 150-175 nights a year in hotels. ) I requested an early check-in (normal time being 3pm) so I assumed 1pm would constitute early. It was too early according to the desk staff, and I would not be able to check in before 3pm because of the occupancy from the night before… As a "Spire" member, I am not used to that type of reply. I understand (it happens, but if I can make a note in my profile to the hotel before I arrive, they can certainly emailed me a reply to inform me that the request could not be granted. The AC doesn't have a thermostat, and so you rely on a gradient knob to set your comfort level. At 10pm it was great, but at 1am I think I was chilled to a level to age beef! Turning it "warmer" almost produced heat… It really disrupted my sleep (or the lack of sleep) My bathroom was showing some serious wear. Caulk was applied very messy and w/o care. And, I assure you the occupant below me was tired of me standing in the shower, because every motion caused the base to creak! And there is no fan in the bathroom to move air and reduce the steam in the room. The property outside is well kept — And it served its purpose. I would stay again, but not have any great expectations. This property has been re-branded, but not reappointed.

Not a bad walk to the casino. Rooms are nice enough. Breakfast was nothing to write about.

Front desk staff was exceptional. The rooms are spacious and functional. Walking distance to the casino. Shower is high enough for tall people. Bed is okay but a little firm for me. Pillows are horrible. Everything else is great. Will stay here again for sure.

Decent hotel in close proximity to the casino. You are able to walk to the casino, gas station/convenience store, and a few small restaurants. The hotel is a bit older, but did seem clean. The pull out sofa couch seemed a bit old as well, but slept ok. This hotel is not very big. The pool is not very big as well, but was not very crowded while we were there on a weekend in August.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was kind and attentive.

Truly one of the most compassionate and caring hotels we ever stayed in. Not to mention the comfortable beds and professional staff here in Cherokee, we will recommend this place to anyone! Thank you, front desk receptionist, for everything. Your caring for guests represents the the core of professionalism beyond reproach.

The good news is that the front desk and everyone who works at the hotel is extra nice. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. BUT — free Wi-Fi has a very low signal, so hard to do anything online. If you have an ATT cell phone, there is ZERO coverage both in the hotel and parking lot/grounds. Front desk suggested I get Verizon — gee, that's easy to do when you are traveling, right? Very disappointed that I can't use my laptop or cell phone.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, Parking was few in front which I did not like parking in back at night being 2 women alone. Breakfast was fair and the attendants were very friendly and helpful. Wish front desk personnel had been. It seemed we were an imposition when we had a question. Especially night shift,

My first time staying! My husband and I were walking through the hallways to get to our room and you could hear people having sex! THE WALLS ARE EXTREMELY THIN! we had no refrigerator, no sheets for the let out couch, hair in tub and sink, someone sock was in the window, Wi-Fi was weak and no remote! I WAS LIKE I'M NOT STAYING HERE! IT WAS OBVIOUS THE ROOM HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED! I WENT BACK DOWNSTAIRS TO GET ANOTHER ROOM OR A REFUND. The guy at the front desk said it would be an hour for another room. I said no thank you! I called cooperate office and my refund was given! … I left and went to the casino! that was fun! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Great food great view and pleasant.

Under construction. Room dirty. Bathroom dirty. Hair on bathroom floor. Walls paper thin. Kinda gross, so went elsewhere for 2nd night. Would not recommend. Will not return.

LOVED IT! Me and my Fiance enjoyed our stay here! King size suite… clean, quite, delicious breakfast didn't need any seasoning, great customer service, good Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the casino to try out Holiday Inn Express & Suites!

Nice hotel, clean, reasonable rate, good bfast. Weak Wi-Fi.

The hotel itself fine, the experience, horrible. Another guest kept us up most of the night, we requested being moved, didn't happen. Instead of enjoying a relaxing get away for a concert we traveled home 100+ miles way too tired and started the week off horribly. Front desk admitted the guest was drunk but that they couldn't control their guests, so with that we will not repeat this adventure at this location there are other options we chose in the past.

Close to casino. Was a very nice hotel when first opened, but over the last couple of years things have been let go and the property is starting to decline. It's a shame as the hotel is in almost perfect location to walk to the casino. Breakfast in the morning is very good, on par with other Holiday Inn Expresses. Pool is nice, but outdoors so only enjoyable a couple of months of the summer as it gets cold up there the rest of the year. Rooms could be cleaner and damages repaired instead of let go. You really do hear just about everything in the hall, especially those returning from the casino after midnight. Overall not bad, but look at the place next door first before reserving. That place is nicer and closer to the casino.

Clean and decent experience. Disappointed in the lack of customer amenities provided. There was no cookies nor candy available during my visit. This is a location by location decision but it adds a nice touch after being on the road for several hours. Was not offered a complimentary bottle of water, was informed by someone that seen front desk give to another guest. When asked for two bottles was told I could have one. Disappointed in the rations approach to providing a bottle of water. Inconsistent approach as well as I was asked nothing the first time I asked for a bottle of water and the next day asked my name and room number. It is a very clean room and overall the staff is courteous. Oh breakfast is lack of desirable. The powered eggs is not a good fit for a "hot breakfast".
