First time staying here and was very surprised how nice the hotel was … We are Hilton honor members and to be honest this hotel is better then then any hotels in this area we highly recommend this hotel if your in the area. And Lisa G makes the experience even more pleasant she is soooo nice.

I’m going to have to give this place 2 stars… And that’s being generous. Here’s the thing. If you choose to visit Bryson City or the surrounding area your out of luck when it comes to accommodation choices. Obviously the few hotels know this. I would no more pay 225 a night for this hotel if my life depended on it. The rooms have a smell. They are unbearably hot and musty and their small units don’t quite do the job to relieve this. They’re comforters and linens suck. It’s clean. I’ll give it that. And it has a small refrigerator if you’re traveling w littles But just resign yourself to the fact that you have to pay astronomical money for something that should actually cost 110. We won’t come here again. Vrbo a house and save yourself the disappointment.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Directly across from the casino is a huge plus. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will defiantly plan another stay here!

We stayed here 7/8/2019. The room was clean and really nice. The staff was extremely nice. And the continental breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again hopefully in the near future.

It's beautifully decorated and maintained. It's located across the street from Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Resort. The staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful hotel with a comfortable room and great service!

We showed up to stay and they had our reservation for the wrong dates and every hotel was sold out. We got lucky to find somewhere to sleep. The next day checked in and all seemed great upon leaving the manager failed to give me my $100 cash deposit back and I also left my Tag Heuer watch on the night stand when I checked out. When I realized what I did I called and of course no one had seen it as the head housekeeper was also a male. The manager was rude and told me his opinions of to the value of my watch and how I wasted money on it. Very unprofessional and very dishonest. OLE I FOEGOT TO MENTION HE GAVE ME $28 off since they have my room away!

One of the pillow cases had a stain on it when we checked in. I guess our room attendant had long black hair because I kept finding them in the bathroom when we checked in and after she had cleaned. Would have liked to have a thin blanket. The bed only had a sheet and bedspread. We asked for extra towels and wash clothes on our 2nd day before we left for the day and they where not left, we had to go down to the desk and ask for some. The room could have used some better lighting. The breakfast wasn't the best, I've had better. I would have liked to have a reference card for the TV / Cable operation. We couldn't find a guide so we had to just go thru the channels to find what we wanted to watch.

We stayed at the location across from Harrah's… Excellent service, very courteous and friendly staff. Easy access to both casino and the local attractions. The rooms are clean, well furnished and spacious. Will stay with them every time we are in Cherokee.

Loved it! Rooms were clean, nice and spacious. I would have given it 5 stars, but they did not have BET channel. Sorry, love my BET. Overall, very nice and elegant place to stay.

Very nice, quiet. Continental breakfast had a good variety. Wi-Fi was sketchy couldn't get internet at all times. Staff we met was helpful.

Have been here the past 3 years for my wedding anniversary. Love this place. Intimate, comfortable and clean.

Nice, clean rooms. Nice staff. Nice little pool (3.5-5 ft). Overwhelming, smelly fragrance in room, it never faded. Beds very, very soft. They swallowed us. Lol. Overall, good value, nice place but wouldn't go back because of the fragrance in the room.

A few family members and I stayed here this past Saturday and our experience was "okay". The staff at the receptionist desk were lovely. They were very accommodating and friendly. The beds felt amazing! The material of the mattress felt like possibly gel and it was very comfortable. The pool was located slightly across the parking lot which was a bit odd to me. So the main disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast. I believe breakfast is over at 9:30 am and we arrived at 9:00 am. All of the eggs were gone and both trash cans were filled above capacity. The staff was very unfriendly and hovered over the breakfast area like hawks. One staff member finally decided to restock the eggs but they had to be microwaved first which seemed to take a very long time. I also believe one of the staff members daughter's ate for free. Overall, the breakfast was mediocre but the staff made it very unpleasant.

This hotel is by far, with my stay. This not the first time I have been here. I brought 3 of my friends for a girl's stay from Greensboro and they had a ball. I will always stay here on any of my visits. Now there could be a little more on the breakfast bar. We like meat and eggs () just saying. But up.

1st time staying at this hotel. Very nice and clean. Bed is comfy. Easy to just walk across the street to harrahs. I would stay here again.

Such a perfect hotel room. Wonderful workers and great location. Right across from the casino and close to everything else. Less expensive compared to the other hotels but in my opinion it's way nicer and the outside looks very cabin like which I love!

We stayed at the Stone Brook Lodge about a month ago. The room and EVERYTHING about it was awesome! We are about to book our second stay of many many more to come! Great place!

Great spot, close to the casino. Very clean rooms. The staff is wonderful. There is a no pet or smoking policy. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. It would have six stars but Google limits us to five. Wonderful time.

After reading lots of reviews I decided to stay at Stonebrook in Cherokee, so we could take my son on the Polar Express. The hotel has a nice outward appeal and looked practically new, but on the 1st night there my grandmother noticed a bug crawling on a pillow. She actually caught it and the only thing we had near to place it in was a coffee cup. I took pictures of it on my cell and then we brought it to the front desk afraid it might have been a bed bug. We have never seen any before. Two evening staff were behind the counter and a woman who was infront (she claimed to work at a "sister site" and the man behind the counter was her boyfriend (she also claimed to have worked in a hospital before and told us to let her see the bug) She said it was some sort of tick or chigger. Looking at us like we were stupid. She said, "you know you are around woods up here. " She followed us back to our room and sprayed Lysol all over the bedding and curtains, and then left. We checked under the matresses and tossed pillows. Still feeling uneasy about everything we decided to go to sleep. We were only there for 2 nights. And now he has bite marks all over his body. We took him to the pediatrician to find out he has body lice. Sure enough showed him the pic and he verified thats what it was. From what I'm reading about this parasite it would be very easy to kill if the bedding had been properly washed and dried. Im now putting Rx creme all over his bumps. Please beware.

Stayed here on 9/1/2017. As I always do in hotels I lifted the corners of the mattress (checking for bed bugs) to find a dirty pair of panties. The front desk guy said the hotel was booked and that he could only bring me new sheets for the bed vs moving us. Then when he brings them to me he just hands them to me and goes to walk off. I had to stop him and ask him to remove the panties. He then went downstairs to get a glove, came back to remove them, and my wife and I were left to make the bed up. To beat it all the next morning at check out I was left feeling like it wasn't that big of a deal and was told either the manager or the owner will be in touch. Since then I have called 5 times, emailed twice, and still no response from anyone. Obviously we left feeling like the place was a filthy dump and will never return.

Beautiful hotel located right near Harrah's Cherokee Casino. The rooms are simple and comfortable and the staff is courteous.

If I could, I would give negative scores for this hotel. If you want to have a better experience at casino, just find some other hotels. Every staffs are liars about room availability. Not polite at all, shift their responsibilities to others. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

One of the best hotels in Paint Town Rd near Harrah's Casino in Cherokee County, NC. The ambiance is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and willing help. Our room smelled so fresh and clean. If you're considering going to Harrah's, please stay at Stonebrook. You won't regret it!

This is a fairly nice hotel for a good price. Continental breakfast is included and not the worst I've been to but we did notice a couple house keeping issues, but they weren't major. If you need somewhere besides the casino hotel, this is a good option and it's a 5 minute walk across the street.

Was very satisfied with this hotel. Clean all through out. Employee's very friendly and helpful. Much nicer and quite then Cherokee casino hotel. Less expensive. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again. Drove from Florida to enjoy the mountains and running streams, can see and hear water from here.

Fairly good service and the stay was nice for the price. However, the Wi-Fi was too spotty/slow to actually work properly.

Wonderful stay at Stonebrook! Very clean and welcoming hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was nice and clean. I've never slept on a more comfortable bed in my life. I wish I could have taken it with me! Definitely will return for another stay.

Pricey for a common hotel stay. Is nicely decorated and clean. Perks are walking distance to casino and some other businesses/restaurants. Rooms are not sound proof at all, you can hear neighbors TV and conversations without even trying to listen.

This was a great hotel and very reasonable price. We had been scammed by Panther Creek Cabins and had to find something before dark. We were so pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean, staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!

Was told we were getting the last room available. Checked in unloaded our bags and went to the Casino. Came back to our keys not working. Went to the lobby and the clerk told us our room was double booked. The staff came into the room and got our bags out and left them at the front desk even after the other couple left because they were not happy about being booked into an already occupied room. Have attempted to get in touch with the manager over 3 weeks now, my fiancé even went in person again and was told he would have to file a complaint. Still no contact from the manager. Will not stay here agin due to lack of competent staff and a sorry manager that doesn't care to follow up with customers who have a legitimate complaint. The continental breakfast sucks too! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

In reference to the other reviewer — yes, the refrigerator in the room is somewhat loud. The continental breakfast lacked proteins but is fairly typical. The room was spotless and the front desk was friendly and efficient. I would absolutely stay again.

Stayed there during very busy Thanksgiving weekend night/WSOP event at Harrahs. Paid $189 + tax, which is higher than normal due to holiday. Physically, a lovely property, clean, new rooms. Location is great… just a short walk across the street to the casino. However, had an extremely disruptive sleep due to an annoying loud, tapping noise that carried on throughout the night. Finally I called the front desk to report it; guy said he'd put in a maintenance request, which didn't help my situation. My husband figured out that it was the refrigerator that was causing all of the noise. We unplugged it and got some peace for an hour and half until it was time to get up. Check out person deferred to manager who wasn't there for resolution. Left with a very bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively… cont'l b'fast has much to be desired. Will NOT go here again.

Good rooms nice and clean… The free Wi-Fi does not pickup in rooms on 2nd floor they ran pre-authorization charges that were not dropped then charged again for room when I got there and will have to file dispute charges to get my money back. If you are going to stay here make sure you can pay for your room cost 2x over…

Nice "new" feel; very convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast not quite as nice as competitors but close enough unless you want to over indulge. Biggest complaint is difficulty in making reservations — had been open for 2 months and still can't reserve on line — hard to believe in 2015…
