If I could give this hotel less than one star, I would do it! When we first walked into our room, it smelt like cigarettes even though, we had asked for a non-smoking room. When we pulled back the bedspread, the bed looked slept-in. The sheets were not smooth and taut. They had the imprent of the mattress. But the worst was that there were gnats and huge roaches in the kitchen sink (we had a room with a kitchenette). Once we killed the insects, we removed the sink-plug to rinse them down the drain. When we did, the smell hit us. The garbage disposal was FULL of rotted food! And now the gnats were pouring out of the sink and flying everywhere! It was 10:30 at night, but we chose to check-out. They offered us a different room, but we decided to go elsewhere. No offer was made to refund our money. First and LAST stay at a Palace Inn!
