Houston Hotels near The Heritage Society

You know sometimes you just have to say, it’s worth it. Normally I would book a large hotel chain on Expedia.

My husband and I have travelled for many years, though Europe, South American and the States. We have stayed in many luxious and lovely hotels.

Hotel Icon is the only hotel I want to stay in downtown Houston. It’s just such a nice hotel! I sleep better here. The rooms are big. The shower is hot. It smells good.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is so clean and smells elegant. The valet, Ramiro, was so friendly.

Best hotel I've stayed at. Great price through the Sams Club App. Very clean, comfy, and safe. The AC in the room is amazing.

Was pleasantly surprised by this BW! Very clean, fairly quiet and the security guard in the parking lot made me feel safe late at night! I will be back for work!

I travel frequently for work and have the good fortune of staying at The Four Seasons in Houston most times I visit Houston.

JUST WOW! Staff were incredible. Best ACTUAL GYM I've ever seen in a hotel. Shower stayed hot. The housekeepers were too good 👍.

My experience was great at your hotel. The hotel is so beautiful, neat and clean. All of the staff were kind, friendly and respectful. The room was great cleaned up every day.

Positive: The staff were exceptional, particularly the housekeeping staff.

I literally have no complaints! From the moment you walk through the front doors, every aspect of this hotel experience is exceptional.

My stay at the Laura Hotel was absolutely wonderful!

The staff at this hotel get 5 stars! Everyone from the welcome desk to the dispatch restaurant have been great! The shuttle really made a difference in our trip since we were here for a convention!

I stay at the Magnolia for business travel from time to time. It has a great location close to downtown and comfortable rooms.

I recently stayed at Thompson Houston by Hyatt and found it to be a hotel with many strengths but also several practical shortcomings.
The public spaces are excellent.

We splurged and booked a special staycation for our anniversary. While our check in got off to a rough start, management did more than make up for it through the weekend.

I was here for some days for conference at George brown. Very homely feeling hostel with great host. Very well maintained accommodation at reasonable price in a good neighborhood.

I had a great time during the week I spent here. Harold was super nice and helpful. The place is clean, and both the rooms and common areas are comfortable.

I had an absolutely outstanding stay at the JW Marriott Houston Downtown, and what truly set it apart was the incredible staff and attention to detail from start to finish.

Top notch! My family and I stayed here this past weekend and I was blown away by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.

I travel a lot, and it’s rare that someone truly stands out the way Sarah did at the AC Hotel Houston.

I had an amazing experience at the AC Hotel, and I have to give a special shoutout to Sarah at the front desk. She was absolutely pleasant, professional, and truly went above and beyond.

My stay at the Embassy Suites Downtown Houston was wonderful. The staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I wanted to mention one exceptional person at the front desk.

Positive: Wonderful location with rates that include a very nice evening reception (2 drinks and light appetizers) and the best ever made-to-order breakfast. Negative: Nope.

Had a lovely stay at Athens hotel. The rooms are freshly renovated, tidy and have a small kitchen that is perfect for those like me who are tired with always eating out.

I had a very positive experience despite some of the negative reviews here and I'll be back many times.

This was a great stay.

Excellent. Central location, super clean and quiet, great breakfast included with my stay. Stunning bar at the top of the 16th story. Unbelievably kind staff. Overall would recommend.

I had an excellent stay at the Whitehall Hotel in Houston, Texas. The hotel was clean, comfortable, well-organized, and professionally managed from check-in to check-out.

Everyone was very polite. Rooms don’t have mini refrigerators but they offered and delivered one to our room upon arrival. Nice comfortable room. Nicely located in downtown.

Our stay at the C. Baldwin was wonderful from start to finish.

I called a few days before our arrival to inquire whether the hotel offered luggage storage.

Hotel been undergoing renovations for the last year. A lot of materials stage in the tiny parking garage. Hotel will look really nice once the renovations are done. The parking garage is really tight.

I had a good experience here, and would come here again. The staff was excellent. David at the front desk was extremely helpful with everything.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay over the weekend for a volleyball tournament. The skyway bridge was an easy access to the convention center.

The Hilton Americas Houston is a huge property and is very well maintained. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds and bedding.

We stayed here for a big volleyball tournament at the convention center. The staff is friendly; the rooms are clean, modern, and spacious; the hotel is really nice.

Huge shoutout to Travis for the top notch service and amazing energy every single day!

Stayed here for a few days solo and it was great! Extremely spacious & clean for being an older building. The bathroom is just slightly dated, but also very spacious and everything was clean.

Great staff, killer location, massive apartment-style rooms great for longer stays and bigger groups sizes. Rooms are very run down, though, and need a facelift.

Service was exceptional. We stayed for our Robotics Worlds tournament and stayed for 3 nights! Tyler helped us with every challenge we had with our booking and went above and beyond!

Stayed for a concert at Toyota center. Perfect location — literally across the street. It is a brand new hotel.

Hello, first off I would like to thank the sweet girl Christina at the front desk check in. Christina was very polite and efficient and was so kind to walk me to the elevator with a smile on her face

We had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Houston, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding valet team.

Top notch service. I came here for my one year anniversary, and I am so pleased. Jeremy was astounding. Great energy and very accommodating. They need to clone him for additional hotels.

Had a great stay at The Sam Houston Hotel. The rooms were clean, the location was convenient, and the staff made the experience even better.

Okay, so I booked this place because a colleague had booked it previously and it looked good online so wanted to give it a try since this was my first time ever in Houston TX. So the room they gave

I was skeptical at first, but this is an amazing place to stay in downtown Houston. Great restaurants within walking distance, and a short walk to the George Brown convention center.

Two things really stood out that made this five stars.

Stayed 2 nights at this location of Residence Inn and it was a very pleasant experience.
