We stayed at Olive Grove Guesthouse for 2 nights at the beginning of our 4-week Namibia trip, and it was the perfect place to ease into our travels.

The accommodation was excellent. The room was fascinating, and the service was very welcoming. Don't head out into the city for dinner – the cooking here is truly outstanding!

Very good location near the airport with efficient shuttle service (for a fee). Good breakfast and great dinner. Room was large and clean.

Good place to stay near the airport if you do not want stay in Windhoek. Just a short distance from airport. Taxi costs 200 Rand.

Hotel is on the outskirts of Windhoek near a mall, with limited nearby dining options. Rooms are cramped but ok. Check in is a bit slow and they’re strict on the check in time.

Friendly people all round and a great restaurant for breakfast. I like it!

This place can be challenging to get to but enjoy the ride because the views are amazing. The host are very friendly and accommodating and the service is 5⭐️.

I stayed here for a few days at the start of a trip around Namibia and Botswana. It was very nice. I chose this place because it offers horse riding and the horse I rode was very well trained.

The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The dormitry will need just a bit of extra attention in cleanliness. But overall everything was.

I enjoyed my 1 day stay at Tate Village. The staff was very kind, helpful and patient with me. The room was very nice and they even provided a fan for me which I greatly appreciate.

Really appreciated the late check-in approval from Tate Village.
I checked in at 5am and had a few hours to rest before check-0ut at 11am.

This little gem is right near the Hotel school, about five minutes away walking. So great location for meals and you can eat meals prepared by the students or the cooks. Very reasonable.

A lovely cosy guesthouse with a very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, squeaky clean, and lovely. It has a fridge, AC, TV with netflix, and coffee corner.

Absolutely beautiful, stunning views, the sunset pool is amazing. Staff is very friendly and attentive, food is brilliant.

I was suppose to stay a 3 night at Klein Windhoek Guest House. The few minutes I stayed, I was at peace. Too bad I never got to stay.

Lovely place, warm welcome with lots of helpful info. If you're just arriving in Namibia there is an MTC store very close, and you can skip the long que at the airport.

Posh location, standard fare. I visited for an official meeting. The setting is similar to River Crossing (high vantage point) but located in the upscale Klein Windhoek area.

I booked 4 nights at Hotel Thule to give myself time to reset after a busy time in South Africa. The hotel location was great with a nice city view from many of the rooms.

I was looking for a place to stay, and a friend took me to this place Villa Moring Guesthouse. I stayed three good nights. The room rate is $40 per night including breakfast.

The welcoming was mind blowing, room are very spacious and clean. It’s near to the City Centre. I would most def come over and over again and would suggest to anyone travelling to Namibia.

It is a really nice place to stay at. The room was big, offered everything we need. There was a nice bed and good working AC for example.

We stayed there in July 2025 for one night with our family. The lodge is located ideally when you’re heading further north. The owners and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is extraordinary.

What a wonderful find! We had just spent a week roughing it in southern Namibia and I almost cried with relief when we walked in. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking Windhoek.

Felsenblick is a top-quality guesthouse located in a quiet part of Klein Windhoek with a nice view at the nearby hill. The guesthouse is family owned & managed and offers 2 self-catering apartments.

Ramblers Self Catering exceeded our expectations! Spacious, clean,, safe accommodation at an affordable price! Only the noise from the nearby road starting from 5:30 is a bit disturbing!

Totally works! Really good value for the price. It was clean, showers hot and the kitchen is functional. Also you get your own private fridge in the room and enough storage space.

In the middle of a wonderful landscape, very friedly and a warm welcome for uns and for the kids.

I wanted to be in a dark, dry, comfortable location to see the southern skies and enjoy nights alone out in the desert.

We have often stayed here as the first or last accommodation on our trips to Namibia and feel completely at home. Friendly staff, clean rooms, cool pool, good location, and fair prices.

Nice guesthouse to relax at after a long flight.
Thé rooms are a little older but good Quality beds and they are Well taken Care of.

I deliberately held back my review of this Gondwana pod experience until we stayed in all 3 non urban pods.
The Desert Whisper was our first pod experience and definitely my favorite.

From far the best travel experience I never had. If you have a chance to do it, don't miss it.

3 star hotel with 5 star service. Excellent staff, I travelled with a large group and everyone enjoyed their stay. The staff are all very helpful friendly, also full of local knowledge.
