Hotel Thuringerhof

Probably the worse hotel I’ve stayed in!
Have nothing good to say about it.

The room was dirty, the bed was not changed down. The bath tub faucet doesn’t work. Walls and curtains dusty and dirty with stains. Bin in the bathroom was not cleared out. It’s a non smoking but other guests were smoking in the rooms which spread to other rooms. Limited menu and limited drinks. It was a lot. Good luck.

Great place, the service isn't bad despite that most staffs are interns.
And it's in the middle of the CBD giving its visitors access to most of the services they will need.

Nice place, with a good absolute standard at affordable prices. The inner court is a very nice calm location to spend time alone and in groups.

Very very bad service I received on 23/12/23 at around 8pm from the lady at the reception, even forgot her name coz she is such a lie mxm. After travelling the whole day all the way from Botswana only to receive such a service when my family needed a family room to rest, the kids were tired and that lady didnt care as she kept on saying she is calling the manager the comes back to me with a changed story, such lies from a front desk staff. Anywhere we ended up leaving to a better place, I will never ever go there no refer someone there, very bad.

Hotel was horrible. The staff is friendly. Food is bad and prices are high. Towels are crummy and stiff. Bath tub is wrong way round so your head hits the tap. Carpets are crummy, dirty and smelly. Elevator is broken so stairs keep you fit. Walls are cracked in the room. TV remote doesn't work. Tap water was yellow. Toilet was dirty and stained. As someone that loves travel I have experienced bad hotels but this one takes the cake. This evening the cleaning ladies forgot to replace the bath towel. So I had to use a hand towel, should've looked before getting in the tub 😮. Area is bit dodgy at night so don't walk after 8. Ps. Don't peel back the sheets.

Reasonable price and just around the corner on the bus station. Staff were excellent and even carried our heavy bags from the station right into our room. Surprisingly large room and Kingsize bed. More than worth the price! 5/5

A very comfortable and quite small hotel — with super-friendly helpful personnel.
An ideal and secure location, with a lovely quiet courtyard, with dining room and bar attached. Not a fancy hotel, but I stayed on two separate occasions and was totally satisfied. The only 'negative' was the non-functioning elevator — that needs quick attention, particularly for guests on the second floor.
The Front Desk proved particularlyat arranging airport transfers and an excellent taxi service in the city itself.

Its a good and Afordable Hotel.

Try that atmosphere, good.

Having had 3 knee replacements between my partner and myself, we had to walk up 2 floors of narrow straits to our room. No lifts here. The 1 hand rail is dangerous and pulls out of the wall. The staff are fabulous, friendly, welcoming and helpful.
