Klein Windhoek Guesthouse

I've always loved the space, great food, friendly staff. However, my last visit was rather disappointing! The food had a weird smell and taste, the waiter had 0 people skills, sat with no cutlery and napkins for 10mins after my food was served.
Trust it can go back to the trusted and loved KWG I know.

Our duvet was yellow & had stains. The 2 pillows on my side were also off color & stained (didn't use either). The door has a lot of play from damage to the latch. No safe. Felt dingy.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Klein Windhoek Guesthouse in July. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
We especially enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals in a lovely setting.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would gladly return on our next trip to Windhoek. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere can make anyone feel comfortable. The rooms are great and the beds were also great. Not to mention the food and drinks. Food was great and the prices are very affordable. Definitely going back there again.

Parking was an issue, towels did not dry well, warm water for shower ran out quickly. Staff helpful and friendly.

The service is excellent, I love the rooms, very comfy, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Fastest Wi-Fi I ever used. It's a great place for family get away 🙌

Surely the worst guesthouse I have ever come across. Room is small, stuffy smell, no ventilation, as good as parking in a scrapyard, bathroom way outdated, noisy airconditioner, bedding old and worn-out, matras wat past expiry. Booked and paid for 3 nights, will be out of here as soon as possible in the morning and find better accommodation, truly pathetic place, avoid at all costs.

Really would not recommend. Not even 1 star. Rooms smelled, bedding did not look clean. We booked dinner and by the time we got there was told the kitchen was closed. Room had no towels.

A welcome oasis. Rooms clean with comfy beds and great showers. Helpful staff and fast Wi-Fi.

This is a lovely guest house for a get away. They have a wonderful restaurant in a serene environment, right next to nature.

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, the mattress was worn out and extremely uncomfortable, had to ask for a second bath towel and hand soap, average size room but had a double bed and a single so not much room to move about. Will not stay there again.

Easy to find when using gps. Friendly reception, clean rooms. Safe parking. Wifi. Close to attractions. The parking is a bit far from the room that we had, when you need to carry luggage from and to the car. Nobody to assist. Bar fridge, kettle and coffee. Tx.

Thank you for your time that we can stay at KWG. We enjoy every moment. Staff very friendly and helpful. That was value for money.

My stay at klein guest house was interesting because it happened in the winter period, I was given a nice room but I met challenges along the way when I requested them to fix the air conditioning system since I needed heating most of the night time since it was cold but that was not handled as per my request, the ambiance was great and the place was clean all the times, I recommend the housekeeping department which did a wonderful job.
The restaurant was a place I wished to have time but some of the waiters were either not interested in serving me or I just didnt know the protocols, there focus was always on the other clients (white) which seemed odd to me so I had to give up and limit my self to only breakfast and a few drinks in the evening, I thank the manager Karlien who always tried to ensure that I receive the required service like having an option on breakfast.
I would surely wish to be back once I get to windhoek, namibia again because I believe there can do beta than that, it was a pleasant 2 weeks with the guest house which was amazing since it was a foreign place.

When I checked in, the woman at reception went to look if the room was ready. After waiting for 45 minutes, I asked another person to help me. She came back to me and told me the receptionist was eating in the restaurant. When we checked in, there was no towels in the bathroom. When we returned from dinner, there was put only one towel in our room. The a/c also didn't work. Unprofessional staff!

No shower gel, no hair dryer. When your neighbors shower or go to the toilet you wake up it's so loud.
The food in the restaurant and conference centre was good and well spiced.
Drinks prices are fair.
