Absolute budget accommodation, just book somewhere else.
This was booked as part of my tour at the start & end. However, I missed the starting night but had I known how bad it was, I would have booked different accommodation nearby & paid the extra.
Check-in was odd & unfriendly.
Room was awful but the only saving grace was the sheets were clean & so was the floor. The towels were so overused, my dog has nicer towels. There was no hot water in the morning to shower.
It was definitely the worst room in the property. Dark, dingy with one tiny window to the outside which faced the walkway to reception/main road & a small window in the bathroom. The air con unit had seen better days & had a bright orange light when in use; so bring an eye mask for night time.
Breakfast was a sad affair. Tinned fruit salad, some corn flakes & rice bubbles with only one egg left as a table of workers ate them all. I got there at 7am on the dot. I'm vegetarian, so the only other protein was bacon.
The grounds were nicely kept but the pool was plunge sized.
Staff were unenthusiastic & lackadaisical at best.
Despite what other local reviewers say, this property is 1-2 stars & doesn't meet western standards for 3 star accommodation.
I'm not sure of the cost but at best it might be worth $500 NAD.
I'm sure you can find better rooms nearby if you need to stay in this location.
