Beautiful location, nice pool area with bay view. It can use some maintenance around the grounds, it is clean tho.

Quiet beach vacation with good restaurants and a market in walking distance. We could make our own food in the kitchen. The pool is smaller but clean and comfortable.

Stayed here in May 2023 and again November 6th. Unfortunately the pool has fallen into disrepair and unusable. Kids disappointed as it’s 99 degrees today.

I don’t write reviews, but this place truly sucked. Sheets (white comforter to be exact) had blood stains.

The original Mayan Palace is over 50 years old. Several of the older buildings have been demolished with no signs of what is planned in their place.

Food was consistently outstanding service was impeccable. Door man (concierge) in main lobby was very helpful polite and genuinely pleasant. Always smiling and very attentive.

A wonderful and incredible place with astonishing views from the room. I originally did a reservation for the Sunset Palace hotel but when I arrived, that hotel was closed.

Booked through Sunwing for 2cd week of February 2026. Very nice hotel with excellent rooms and service. Staff was exceptional. Beach was excellent and no problem with getting lounge chairs.

I had a nice stay at the Riu in Mazatlan. The room was nice and functional. The property is clean, organized and diverse. The food and drink are good. Most impressive is the staff.

We had Thursday night is prime rib night. Great time and the delicious tender prime rib was so good! Happy hour drinks and a glass of wine with dinner.

We've been going here over 20 years! It's a great place to relax by the enormous pool while getting served poolside from their wonderful restaurant!

It is a beautiful little hotel on the hill. They offer a delicious breakfast. There is a pool but it is not heated. It is easy to walk to restaurants from here but it does take about 10 minutes.

Best Vacation Ever! Attentive staff. Clean safe and comfortable. Situated away from the crowds but close enough to everything. Highly recommended.
