My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time here. The staff is so friendly and the service was amazing.

Excellent and friendly staff. Went well beyond expectations to get us to the train station the following morning with an overbooked taxi situation. Would highly recommend.

Yoko was the best host, we had coffee and great chats together. Yoko have us some great recommendations for food and walks in Nara. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Nara.

This guest house is a great place to stay in Nara! The location is very convenient to both of the train stations and Nara park.

Our stay in this beautiful hotel was an absolute highlight during our journey through japan. It’s beautiful, simple and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

If you want to stay close to the action, this is the place. Lake and deer adjacent.
However… the hotel rooms look nice but are basically a camper van setup.

Our communication was smooth and swift even though they have no staff at the location. The shower is really big and modern.

An airb&b-style hotel within walking distance from JR Nara station. Rooms are cleaned, spacious, nicely decorated and ratio quality price is excellent. I would definitely come back.

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at KONJAKUSO Nara Naramachi “MUSHIBUROYA” Sauna Villa, and it was such a memorable experience.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back whenever we visit Nara!
The sauna was one of our favorite features – very easy to use and perfect for relaxing after a day out.

Had a pleasant 3-night stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious, especially compared to typical Japanese hotels, which was nice.

The staff (especially the foreigners) are wonderful. The breakfast is filling. The views of Mount Kongo and Mount Katsuragi are spectacular.

Delicious food, excellent service with a very beautiful garden. There's a path just beside the inn. It's a route which we can walk up to the hill through the forest.

The staff is friendly & helpful. Dinner is well served & delicious.
The garden is a surprised, well arranged & lighting; decent & charming!

The hotel is a bit tired, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. They serve happy hours free sake and snack in the evening time. Breakfast is tasty 😋

Perfect place to be near Nara park and the shrines. The pond view from the room we had was beautiful. The deer were all over and it was very peaceful. Walkable to great places to eat and shops.

Perfect location and very quiet but the communal bath was a bit small. It's also just a 'normal' bath.
The breakfast was very good, didn't book dinner though.

What a treat the Shisui Hotel in Nara is! We went back and forth on whether to spend a night in Nara or just to a day trip. We chose one night at this beautiful luxury hotel and are so glad we did.

We love the historical aspect of the hotel. Service is top notch!
They managed to help us get a next day tour and last minute restaurant booking with taxi ride.

I often go to super hotels, but personally, this was the one I was most satisfied with.

It is a 3-story building located a little far from the main road.
It has a stylish exterior that doesn't look like a business hotel.
The staff's response is very good.

During my recent four-night stay at Nara Plaza Hotel, I had a generally positive experience.

The location of this hotel is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station. The room is modern and clean and fairly spacious compared to other hotels in Japan.

I'm very happy that I found this hotel. :-) It's located right at the center of Nara and you can go anywhere from here. Also price is very reasonable. Staff are very helpful.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Nara-Kintetsu Station, and the main attractions in Nara are within walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was comfortable & nicely decorated. I had a window I could open a bit.

A small little hotel with economic rooms for all travelers. I wasn’t expecting to find such a little gem in the middle of Nara based on initial reviews but I pleasantly enjoyed the experience.

Have a good room, not very big, but have a public hot tube, even if it is far away from the train stations, and you will also find the 2/F is easy to have thieves as they can climb in by windows.

Our stay here was a pinnacle experience for us! Our final 2 nights of a 12 night trip to Japan were spent here and I can’t say enough good things.

Mercure Nara Kashihara was the perfect choice as we needed a tranquil, easy place to navigate as an older couple.
Mercure Nara Kashihara is located very close to the Railway Junction.

Kashihara is a small town that is quiet and peaceful, but this hotel is superb! They have excellent breakfast spread of both Japanese and western food.

This is an amazing beautiful place in a charming historical street, there is everything you need in the house, very spacious and comfortable.
Beautiful walk next to the river just 2min away.

Wonderful, friendly and incredibly obliging staff, large, beautiful rooms, breakfast that was like a royal banquet! And the most incredible location right on Nara Park.

Exceptional hotel! The room is great, the restaurant is better, the wine list is top notch and the service is truly world class! Feels more like a private home than a hotel.
