Nara Hotels near Nara Park

Staff here were so friendly and nice! Super super location at the back of the deer park, away from majority of the tourists.

Amazing location! There is a cafe upstairs for a convenient and tasty breakfast/lunch. The inn is walking distance from multiple bus stops and shuttles as well as shrines and gorgeous walking paths.

This place had extremely excellent service, even better than some of the resort type places I went to. Breakfast was a little more pricy but had so many courses that it was absolutely without a doubt

Outstanding historic hotel walking distance to Nara Deer Park. Excellent staff and lovely old world feel. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, bathrooms adequate w tub.

I stayed here when I was in Nara for a week back in November. I loved it. The staff was super friendly and the location to the train stations, park and market was perfect.

Awesome perfect Nara stay.
Plus points.
— a very warm sincere welcome at reception, English speaking front staff.

Definitely 10/10!
The staff and service were truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay.

My family and I recently stayed at And Hotel Nara Wakakusa and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

My family and I booked 2 rooms, both with a private bath inside. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I can't speak for the food as I had a room only booking but the facilities were were good, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and everything was clean.

FuFu resorts have always exceeded my expections and FuFu Nara is no exception. Service is excellent from the time you arrived.

Beautiful ryokan with in-room onsen.

Our stay in this beautiful hotel was an absolute highlight during our journey through japan. It’s beautiful, simple and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

If you want to stay close to the action, this is the place. Lake and deer adjacent.
However… the hotel rooms look nice but are basically a camper van setup.

Perfect place to be near Nara park and the shrines. The pond view from the room we had was beautiful. The deer were all over and it was very peaceful. Walkable to great places to eat and shops.

Perfect location and very quiet but the communal bath was a bit small. It's also just a 'normal' bath.
The breakfast was very good, didn't book dinner though.

What a treat the Shisui Hotel in Nara is! We went back and forth on whether to spend a night in Nara or just to a day trip. We chose one night at this beautiful luxury hotel and are so glad we did.

We love the historical aspect of the hotel. Service is top notch!
They managed to help us get a next day tour and last minute restaurant booking with taxi ride.

Our stay was truly excellent. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the very first moment. They made us feel welcome and were always available to assist with anything we needed.

Lovely ryokan with very friendly staff conversant in English.
We had a wonderful time here, and enjoyed the private onsen (the public baths are free but you can reserve the private onsen for a fee).

Traditional Ryoken with traditional dinner & breakfast, which were an amazing experience. Book a free shuttle from the train station beforehand. They went above & beyond to treat us amazing.

This was the single greatest hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The dinner and breakfast were world class. The in room bath and public bath’s were whimsical and relaxing.

All amenities you need except for washing machine, there are a few coin laundries nearby. Wi-Fi is great, location is great too.

The rooms are a little small, with very little space for storage. The location is very nice, close to Nara park while being quiet.

Great location, Easy check-in/check-out, clean room and bath, comfortable bed, climate control. Overall great experience!

It was nice to stay — just some random black stuff was almost all over the both beds, which it made some marks on — not sure what it was though. Other than that, it was good to stay.

Fantastic experience, and the staff were always friendly and helpful! We speak zero Japanese, and the staff only speaks limited English, but don't let that deter you.

A lovely place at the edge of the deer forest. A marvelous Japanese hosting with a welcome drink and tea set to the room. We had 2 different rooms. Japanese style. Very spacious.

Design savvy modern hotel with tatami style rooms. Check in took sometime. Service was decent.

Superb service, among the best I've ever had at a hotel. Generous check-in and check-out policies with respect to luggage and even offering to carry it up the stairs for you.

It was a great stay with a super nice service and fantastic location. Location-wise I don’t think there can be anything better in Nara! Wholeheartedly recommend!

Lovely ryokan in Nara between the Kintetsu station and the park. Stayed for one night and was treated to gracious hospitality, all the staff were kind and welcoming.

The Guesthouse is lokated close to Nara Park and in a nice traditional Area that is worth am evening stroll. We had one of the two Rooms with Tatami-floor and Futons. It was comfortable and quiet.

Nice hostel in a lovely traditional Japanese house. It is close to the famous temples and Deer park, old shoppings streets and only 25 min walk from the train stations.

The hotel is really good. More than we expected it would be. The service is very personal and hospitable. The staffs are genuinely friendly. The experience is superb.

My travel companion and I were caught in a sudden rainstorm in Nara, and ended up sheltering outside Yoshidaya.

Great 2 room mini apartment. Washing machine with powder supplied is great, so is modern bidet toilet but tiny, TINY, shower room. Best to sit down on shower stool but water is good so it’s fine.

Stayed in December. Situated close to local station and there’s a great public bath minutes away, which the owner will recommend when you arrive.

Great location and nice soaking tub. There was a printed sign taped on the closed front desk window that said they were gone "cleaning.

Unmatched location with spacious deluxe room. Walking distance from the deer park and pond. We tried to check in 30mins earlier after the cleaning was done but they only allowed us to come in at 3pm.

Its an awesome ryokan located right in the forest. Food was very good if you like authentic japanese cuisine, and the service was spectacular. You will be treated as kings.

Stunning. Delicious food, service incredible, room amazing. We wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you!
