Nara Hotels near Isui-en

I stayed in this hotel for several nights. Clean, comfortable, friendly/professional staff, great location in terms of proximity to restaurants/cafes/train station.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Nara, and I must say, the staff was incredibly handsome and helpful!

This place had extremely excellent service, even better than some of the resort type places I went to. Breakfast was a little more pricy but had so many courses that it was absolutely without a doubt

Outstanding historic hotel walking distance to Nara Deer Park. Excellent staff and lovely old world feel. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, bathrooms adequate w tub.

I stayed here when I was in Nara for a week back in November. I loved it. The staff was super friendly and the location to the train stations, park and market was perfect.

This former sake brewery exudes charm! Our room had its own view of a private garden, nightingale floors (to prevent ninjas sneaking in? ), a hinoki ofuro, a tatami room.

My family and I booked 2 rooms, both with a private bath inside. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I can't speak for the food as I had a room only booking but the facilities were were good, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and everything was clean.

We love the Deer Park Inn and Mountain Home Lodge. The staff go above and beyond to make the stay perfect.

Rooms were great especially if near deer, we could feed them from our room.
Staff were very friendly, even recommended us places around Japan.

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at KONJAKUSO Nara Naramachi “MUSHIBUROYA” Sauna Villa, and it was such a memorable experience.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back whenever we visit Nara!
The sauna was one of our favorite features – very easy to use and perfect for relaxing after a day out.

No Frills hotel — They try to use everything automated — Baggage Storage with lockers and automatic baggage storage, Computer Check in although it doesn't work so well there's a bell to call staff.

Checkin a 3pm is a little bit down but this is the rule so no problem with that.

Great hotel. It’s a bit older so it has that older bit of charm. You’re staying here for the convenience. Extremely easy to get to Kintetsu Nara station.

We stayed here just yesterday, on the last day of our honeymoon in Japan, and it was the perfect way to end our trip.

If you want to stay close to the action, this is the place. Lake and deer adjacent.
However… the hotel rooms look nice but are basically a camper van setup.

Beautiful hotel with woody and earthy interior. The snack bar is well stocked with occasional special canales. The breakfast features fresh local produce.

Villa Communico was the highlight of our whole 3 weeks in Japan. It’s a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it if you have the opportunity.

We had a very good stay at slow house nara! The room was very clean and cosy, the location was incredible (right beside the train a station and park), and the hosts were extremely kind!

Perfect location and very quiet but the communal bath was a bit small. It's also just a 'normal' bath.
The breakfast was very good, didn't book dinner though.

A small little hotel with economic rooms for all travelers. I wasn’t expecting to find such a little gem in the middle of Nara based on initial reviews but I pleasantly enjoyed the experience.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Nara-Kintetsu Station, and the main attractions in Nara are within walking distance.

We stayed like 16 nights which is a long time and to say the very least we're glad we chose them!

Great house, cozy beds and its very traditional Japanese house. We LOVE the bathtub it’s sooo cool.

What a magical place! You are staying in a luxury inn inside of Nara park. Kasugataisha is a quick walk away, and you wander through roving deer to find the gate.

During a three-month stay in Japan, nowhere did we find a better place to stay.

Wonderful, friendly and incredibly obliging staff, large, beautiful rooms, breakfast that was like a royal banquet! And the most incredible location right on Nara Park.

Exceptional hotel! The room is great, the restaurant is better, the wine list is top notch and the service is truly world class! Feels more like a private home than a hotel.

It was nice to stay — just some random black stuff was almost all over the both beds, which it made some marks on — not sure what it was though. Other than that, it was good to stay.

Clean, well-appointed room in a great location. There is no front desk staff most of the time, you just get the door code on your phone for the room. Everything went smoothly and the price was great.

Superb service, among the best I've ever had at a hotel. Generous check-in and check-out policies with respect to luggage and even offering to carry it up the stairs for you.

Very classy and elegant hotel, while keeping a simple and traditional Japanese style.
