Nara SPA hotels

We had such a lovely time at Onyado Nono Nara. The breakfast was tasty and well made with local and seasonal dishes. The women’s onsen was spacious, with a really cool indoor/ outdoor layout.

Great hotel and great location. All the staff are kind and helpful. The food was amazing! So delicious. If you stay here, definitely try the breakfast buffet at least once — it does not disappoint!

FuFu resorts have always exceeded my expections and FuFu Nara is no exception. Service is excellent from the time you arrived.

Beautiful ryokan with in-room onsen.

It is away from the city and built on a plateau. I enjoyed the open view of Nara area. I chose a twin room with a rollaway bed. It was spacious compared to Japan hotel standard.

Hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Staff are professional and focused on service. This hotel is very popular with older Japanese guests. Room is dated but very clean and comfortable.

Next to the JR Nara Station and very easy to access. Beautiful large room and grand view. Having a public bath on the 6th floor is a bonus.

Have a good room, not very big, but have a public hot tube, even if it is far away from the train stations, and you will also find the 2/F is easy to have thieves as they can climb in by windows.

Our stay here was a pinnacle experience for us! Our final 2 nights of a 12 night trip to Japan were spent here and I can’t say enough good things.

The hotel is a bit tired, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. They serve happy hours free sake and snack in the evening time. Breakfast is tasty 😋

Front Desk staff Misa was so warm and helpful throughout my stay. She helped me get a new fridge when I told her the fridge in my room was not working.

Very affordable, clean rooms and soft beds, helpful staff. The hot spring bath was never busy. Free alcohol and snacks in the lounge from 15:00~18:00 and 21:00~23:00. A good selection at breakfast.

Had a pleasant 3-night stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious, especially compared to typical Japanese hotels, which was nice.

The staff (especially the foreigners) are wonderful. The breakfast is filling. The views of Mount Kongo and Mount Katsuragi are spectacular.

A lovely place at the edge of the deer forest. A marvelous Japanese hosting with a welcome drink and tea set to the room. We had 2 different rooms. Japanese style. Very spacious.

Shisui, Nara is a masterclass in how to convert a historic landmark into a world-class resort.

This was my first time staying at a Luxury Collection hotel. Shisui is a small property with only 41 rooms, located in a historic building. The Japanese aesthetic is present throughout.

Very lovely place. Full of charm. It is small and intimate. The staff made you feel very well taken care off. The onsen is relaxing and not busy. Its located in the middle of Dorogawa Onsen.

Hanaya Tokubei is a newly refurbished traditional onsen inn.
