The host (Yoko-san is very down to earth and great to talk to).
The location (close to most interesting sites in Nara).
The house (traditional and quiet).
Nothing I didn't like.

The location of this hotel is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station. The room is modern and clean and fairly spacious compared to other hotels in Japan.

The owners are so kind and its perfectly located! Close to Nara Park and Nara JR station. I loved my time here. Highly recommend!

Hotel near the station. Easy to understand. When I opened the door, I thought it would be nice if the shoe-on area was separated, like the entrance of a house. Clean.

There is a safe route access anywhere in the country, and there is an affiliated multi-storey parking lot at the back entrance of the hotel, which is paid on a first-come, first-served basis.

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring both Kyoto and Nara. We wanted somewhere away from the throngs of people and this place delivered.

A nice place after a hiking tour at the Kumano Kodo. If you have dinner, the owner showed you how to do a hot pot with a smile. They are very friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet.

Room is spacious for 2, clean and comfortable.

Lovely stay. We felt truly at home. The host is a very friendly lady. There is a cozy community area with a small but well equipped kitchen.

Room was bit small but cozy, esp the shower room — we managed to brush teeth and wash our face in the stand up shower instead of the tiny sink.

Incredible service, incredible location. You can literally feed deers from your window! The staff is very nice and helpful, and the room was clean.

The food was good and the people friendly.
It was quite isolated, shared bathrooms with shower on a different floor and the pillow pretty challenging for anyone used to a soft pillow.

Amazing and memorable stay I had there. They met me by the train station and then I spent a lovely peaceful night on the mountain and at 6 in the morning we had a pray in the temple together.

This is my second time using it. When I stayed there for the first time last year, I felt so comfortable that I felt like I was at home, so I'm going to come back next year!

I stayed at this hotel based on the travel agent's recommendation, as it has good internet access and is close to Kintetsu Nara Station.

We couldn't find any lockers at the Nara Station and we discovered this hotel offered luggage storage while we visited Nara Park for the day. The front desk man was very nice.

Great location, not far from Nara main station. Easy check in / check out. The place had everything you needed, including free washing machine / dryer.

Everything is great. But the timing is not good as it was decoration cuz bad smells.

Did not sleep at the hotel, but ate at the hotel restaurant. The sukiyaki we tried was good and tasty. Ice cream for dessert was OK. Service was courteous, spoke some basic English and tried to help.

Stayed in a double room, small but fine if you’re only planning to sleep/rest. Hot shower and a comfortable bed. Slept with window open for some cool air.

Stayed 10 days with six people included me in just one room literally got us the best core memory ever.

Centrally located. Small kitchen equipment, microwave and grill. Supplies free toothbrush razor and ear plugs.

Perfect everything, unfortunately I booked via yahoo Japan and for some reason I can't leave a review on that booking site, but here I can tell I loved my stay there.

Good clean hotel, nice room, nice staff. Free breakfast in lobby. Great stay overall.

My only disappointment was the fact that they clean your room after 3 days. It's a calm, near and affordable place to stay. There's only japanese 🍙 served as breakfast. I prefer western style buffet 😢

The location is epic! Super clean, the bathroom was sparkling. Grateful they gave you towels to use. Loved the big mats downstairs to stretch on. Kitchen to use.

Super value for money. Complete basic amenities. Room is clean, except for the aircon vent, but I really don't mind. The lady staff who checked me in was very polite and can speak English.

Typical of Japanese business hotels, it's clean, small but functional and a little musty. My room has a window that opens which helped with ventilation.
