We stayed in the women’s dormitory and verything was clean, comfy, and well organised. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the dorm felt safe and peaceful.
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work for us much during our stay, which made it a bit tricky to do any research or planning for the next day in the evenings.
Also, the layout of the facilities wasn’t ideal as the toilets felt quite far from our room, and the showers were located outside, which made it a bit inconvenient. For one night it was totally fine, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.
Otherwise, a lovely place and definitely worth considering for a short stay!

I loved my stay here. The hostel is beautiful with an inner garden and there’s a very cozy feel to it. The bed was comfortable and spacious, there is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook, and everything looks very clean (just note that while I was there, two days ago, the stove was broken so it’s temporarily out of service). Towels are also provided and there are free lockers in the room.
It’s conveniently located 18min from the train station and from there it’s a short walk to Nara park and the temples, and there’s also a bus stop and a supermarket nearby.
The host was super nice and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out.
Highly recommend!

I didn't manage to get to the accommodation due to the private situation, yet the host was big hearted person and accepted my request to cancel my reservation in 2 days notice without putting additional charge on me, for which I'm very grateful for. I can recommend the cooperation with this host!
