I stayed at the Sada house, room 102. It has an old days atmosphere, nicely decorated with eye for detail. But it has also all the modern amenities you could wish for.

We stayed in room 701 TAKE. It was absolutely amazing. It’s like staying in a national trust house. We had a private onsen style bath.

We stayed one night in this hotel while driving from Kochi to Hiroshima.

A cozy hotel with tender service. Its hot spring spa is tidy nice and clean. The food serves me with delightful tastes except its wagu steak which, in my opinion, was overdone.

Small rooms however staff service and facilities and location were good. Parking fee was 770yen.

Comfortable modern rooms. Cafe serving coffee and cocoa free from machine. Walking distance to shopping and famous bathhouse around in the area.

We had the pleasure of staying at this extraordinary ryokan during a short stop on our journey through Japan, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Matsuyama was originally just meant to be a transfer stop on our way to Hiroshima, but in hindsight, I wish we had left Kotohira earlier and stayed two nights at Dogo Miyu instead of just one.

Excellent experience. Private soaking tub was amazing. Very gorgeous room. Meals were excellent. Miyu exceeded my expectation. I will book Miyu again next year. Its very high value prop.

Located in a great location. Walk out the front door and you are in the middle of a busy market. However, it is not loud and the room was quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The location is near the station. You have to tell the taxi driver to go to Shieki. There is another train station with a similar name in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's location right above Matsuyama City station made our commutes easy and convenient.

Just 7 rooms and it should have 7 stars to describe this place. We enjoyed every minute in this magical place. The design is one of a kind.

This is a fabulous hotel to begin or end your Shimanami Kaido adventure. They look after you very well!
It is very convenient for the bike rental centre and the train station.

In our 3 week trip around Japan this was the best value hotel that we enjoyed. We took the single room for two deal and it was fine for us two tall people.

Spent 2 nights at Hotel Taiyo Noen Nibancho with breakfast and it was great. Perfect location and service. Reception very helpful with English and detailed instruction.

Extremely convenient well-priced hotel with very nice rooms. Sink was in the room which was a bit odd but toilet was separate from the bath which was nice. Room was extremely comfortable.

I used to live in Matsuyama my first six years. I was looking for a place very close to down town, in order to have easy access to all attractions and main shopping streets/malls.

Clean and comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Has its own onsen, breakfast option, amenities for bath, coin laundry, rental bikes, and also the choice of pillow for sleeping comfort.

A less than 5 mins walk from Matsuyama Station. Room was spacious and came w all amenities.

We stayed here for a martial arts seminar. I am very glad that we did. The weather did not help as it was quite hot. The room was excellent as I slept like a log.

We stayed a night and loved the place. The grounds and hotel were lovely and minimalist. The service staff were polite and discreet, but always ready to assist.

Beautiful hotel, with delightful staff who were gracious and helpful when we arrived on our bikes absolutely soaking. Rooms are pristine, bed was comfortable, and the grounds were pleasant.

The in-room onsen bathis really great, I can bath in quiet private room but with the same hot onsen quality as the public one has.

Absolutely superb! Enjoy the onsen bathing in sunset! Food is also incredible, best fried chicken and octopus during our trip in the island. Facility is old but remain cozy! Price is behind fair.

We only ate at the Cafe, as we were staying at the Ryokan down the street. The food and drinks were great! Such diversity on the menu, all cooked so well! And nice it was open late!

Hotel was relatively new as it opened not too long ago. That being said, I remember there were a lot of dust on the inside of the light buttons by the bedside but that was the only complaint I had.

Great hotel for cyclists! Let you store your bike on bike racks right in the main lobby. Clean, comfortable, wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Stayed in the double bedroom with my wife. It is a short cycle off the main path and quite close to a Family Mart.

We loved our stay at Guesthouse Tonari 💕 we stayed for two nights to wait out a rainy day.

Nice hotel in Shikoku Chuo. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Room was ok size for one person. Bed comfortable.
Long pillow a bit hard so I got softer one from reception area.
Aircon and Wi-Fi good.

This was my second Super Hotel stay on Shikoku, and it was night and day difference with my previous experience in another city.

Very spacious three-bedroom apartment conveniently located next to Matsuyama city station and a host of shops, cafés, and bars.

Convenient and nice. We stayed at the 2 ldk (though 3ldk was advertised) I don't really see that as an issue though. Amenities were clean and had some drinks for us. Though no pajamas.

Booked thru booking. Com for cheaper rates and stayed 3N. The perfect hotel to stay for a short trip into the city. But 10mins away from the castle as well as right opposite a major shopping district.

Great room size. Very clean. Great location steps away from Okaido shopping street and tram stop where you can take a short ride to Dogo Onsen. Walking to castle is possible.

Great location, facilities are all well kept. Lots to do for families.
I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for a disappointing dinner service.

As we knew that there wouldn’t be many attraction on these days, we decided for a Japanese Style Hotel and we had great moments there.
The reception was spectacular! Everybody welcome us very well.
