I was introduced to this place by a local, and it's a fantastic hotel with traditional rooms and amazing service. The lobby level and garden are very special, designed by a renowned architect. The trees in the garden are 300 years old. The bath is enormous, 5 different baths to choose from, 4 indoor and 1 outdoor. There is also a great foot bath outside, open to the public. A nice feature to this foot bath is the stones on the bottom are specifically designed for reflexology.
Traditional style hotel, tatami mats on the floor of the main room with nothing but a coffee table and 2 chairs (you have to sit with your legs crossed), there's a hostess and she'll introduce you to your room, aske you when you'd like dinner in your room and what time you'd like breakfast. She will bring in the meals and lay them out for you, after dinner there will be someone to help the hostess to prepare the room for sleeping. The baths downstairs are really good with lots of amenities, the staff in this hotel are very friendly, courteous, polite and extremely helpful. We drove to this hotel and the next morning when we were checking-out we noticed that they had even cleaned the windscreen.
