Fantastic hotel with an open air bath in the room. Very good value for the price. Also their public onsen are clean and nice.

We stayed one night in this hotel while driving from Kochi to Hiroshima.

A cozy hotel with tender service. Its hot spring spa is tidy nice and clean. The food serves me with delightful tastes except its wagu steak which, in my opinion, was overdone.

Small rooms however staff service and facilities and location were good. Parking fee was 770yen.

Comfortable modern rooms. Cafe serving coffee and cocoa free from machine. Walking distance to shopping and famous bathhouse around in the area.

We had the most wonderful private dining experience in our room. I’d like to commend our server, Maki, who was a paragon of compassion, kindness, wisdom and professionalism. She made our evening.

Really attentive service, the room was wonderful and the food was great. Good location. Highly recommend if you want something a bit luxurious.

Just 7 rooms and it should have 7 stars to describe this place. We enjoyed every minute in this magical place. The design is one of a kind.

Located in a great location. Walk out the front door and you are in the middle of a busy market. However, it is not loud and the room was quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Matsuyama was originally just meant to be a transfer stop on our way to Hiroshima, but in hindsight, I wish we had left Kotohira earlier and stayed two nights at Dogo Miyu instead of just one.

Excellent experience. Private soaking tub was amazing. Very gorgeous room. Meals were excellent. Miyu exceeded my expectation. I will book Miyu again next year. Its very high value prop.

The location is near the station. You have to tell the taxi driver to go to Shieki. There is another train station with a similar name in the area.

Spent 2 nights at Hotel Taiyo Noen Nibancho with breakfast and it was great. Perfect location and service. Reception very helpful with English and detailed instruction.

Spent 3 days 2 nights in this wonderful hotel (may 10th ~ may 12th) It was wonderful. I luckily got the seaside room so I could watch the beautiful sunset.

Room with a view! You can sit in your own personal onsen and watch the glorious sunset. It feels like such a luxury! The rooms themselves are small and basic but clean and with everything you need.

Extremely convenient well-priced hotel with very nice rooms. Sink was in the room which was a bit odd but toilet was separate from the bath which was nice. Room was extremely comfortable.

I used to live in Matsuyama my first six years. I was looking for a place very close to down town, in order to have easy access to all attractions and main shopping streets/malls.

A less than 5 mins walk from Matsuyama Station. Room was spacious and came w all amenities.

We stayed here for a martial arts seminar. I am very glad that we did. The weather did not help as it was quite hot. The room was excellent as I slept like a log.

Booked thru booking. Com for cheaper rates and stayed 3N. The perfect hotel to stay for a short trip into the city. But 10mins away from the castle as well as right opposite a major shopping district.

Great room size. Very clean. Great location steps away from Okaido shopping street and tram stop where you can take a short ride to Dogo Onsen. Walking to castle is possible.

Great location, facilities are all well kept. Lots to do for families.
I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for a disappointing dinner service.

As we knew that there wouldn’t be many attraction on these days, we decided for a Japanese Style Hotel and we had great moments there.
The reception was spectacular! Everybody welcome us very well.

Very spacious three-bedroom apartment conveniently located next to Matsuyama city station and a host of shops, cafés, and bars.

Convenient and nice. We stayed at the 2 ldk (though 3ldk was advertised) I don't really see that as an issue though. Amenities were clean and had some drinks for us. Though no pajamas.

Stayed 2N. The property is locate next to the Dogo Onsen (Japan's oldest onsen) which is undergoing renovations. The hotel is equally old and is designed in a very elegant way.

First 5 star of our tour. We arrived to be told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a better room. Wow, what an upgrade. We were given the biggest room on the floor.

There are many restaurants within a short walk. It's a multi-storey parking lot, but you can get in and out freely. It was 800 yen a day.
During peak hours, it may take a while for a car to come out.

Is it a late model as a route in?
It's a little off the main road, the downtown area of ​​Matsuyama City, but I wonder if it's that much quieter?

Best hotel I have stayed at close to Dogo onsen (2 min walk). Big clean rooms, nice hotel onsen, but a little expensive. Will definitely try to stay here next time I visit.
