Kyoto Hotels near Yoshida Shrine

The Hotel is in a good place. 30 mins walking from good and beautiful temples.
Theres a family mart close to It.
The owner Kei is a good person and very kind, and helps you on everything.

Nice little hotel in a quiet neighborhood. There is a buss stop nearby and the trip to the centre of Kyoto takes ~30 minutes.
Staff were super nice, they helped us to send our baggage to Tokyo.

Our initial experience at a ryokan was thoroughly enjoyable.

Had a great time here. Honestly no idea how this place is priced this way but it feels like a 350 per night ryokan for 1/3 the cost.

Based on customer service alone they deserve 5 stars. I accidentally booked the wrong day, so when I showed up I actually didn’t have a room booked!

Overall a great experience, the staff was just so nice and after travelling in japan for some time its great to have a crew who speaks fluent english!

Friendliest people I’ve stayed with. The house was beautiful, clean. The bed were Japanese traditional style which made the stay such a great experience.

Such a great place to stay! Big thanks to the owners who dropped us off the train station after check out. A really wonderful experience in kyoto!

A very cute Japanese Ryokan. Very nice host, good food and a lot of choice for your beautiful yukata during the stay. Love it so much.

The location was still a close walk to the train station, but the neighborhood was pretty quiet at night. This did suit a ryokan as we were relaxing in the onsen.

Beautiful Japanese traditional style accommodation with 7 guest rooms.
The signs and info sheets are beautifully drawn by the owner. Various items can be borrowed for free (ie.

The photos do not mislead! This guesthouse is very special: The owner, Yuki, and her daughter and staff were so kind, generous and patient.

Nice place, cozy rooms. Basic things are all ready for us to use and consume such as tea bags, sauces, rice, just to name a few.

Beautiful home, very good value for money. It was spacious and nicely decorated. Perfect for our group of 5 (2 couples and 1 year old baby).

I rented a bicycle for 500 yen a day. The tire was extremely old and had deteriorated, and the tube came out from the side.

Best experience. A peaceful and bautiful place to stay with clean traditional rooms.

Very authentic and lovely place in a nice neighborhood of Kyoto! plenty of restaurants, shrine, a beautiful river and other natural beauties just next door!

My husband and I are very picky travelers and we were nervous about staying at a ryokan instead of a familiar luxury brand hotel; but Yoshida Sanso surpassed our expectations.

Our bus tour of Japan took us to the Yoshida Sansa for a ‘be my guest experience’ in a traditional ryokan and we had a beautiful, carefully made lunch in this beautiful hotel.

Very nice, quiet and well located, the host is super accommodating and friendly. I stayed in a single room and it was so calm and quiet I rested super well.

What a wonderful stay! These accommodations were perfect for my time in Kyoto. A quiet, relaxing neighbourhood near some breathtaking shrines. Very close to major bus routes.
