An amazing experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful, suggesting and booking restaurants etc. Beautiful western style Japanese room, comfy bed and L'occitane toiletries.

As all the previous reviews mention: this place is exceptional! Absolutely every detail has been thought of with care. We ended our two week travels of Japan here and were so happy we did.

Nice hotel. Well staffed, clean and friendly. Typical rooms that you would get at this pricepoint anywhere in Japan.

The staff is very nice and hospitable. The self check-in/out are easy to use and there is a self storage for baggage you can use if you are earlier then the check-in time.

We stayed at Hotel Amanek Kyoto and had a very good experience. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were very clean.

Great service and lovely staff, has its own sento which was always quiet. They also gave free juice/tea. It was easy to walk to the centre and there were frequent buses right out the front.

This is a hotel that truly makes you feel comfortable and eager to return.

I had a very pleasant stay so I’m giving it 5 stars. Very close to the train station and 3 convenience stores. At scheduled times, they would provide free udon and alcoholic beverages.

A hotel with really good size rooms in Kyoto! Enough for two large suitcases to be open on the floor. Unheard of in Japan!

Room was very chill, but mattress was very hard.

We like this hotel. Self service, comfy room, with washing machines and kitchen. Bus 206, 208, 86 …. Many transport to get around.

Very good hotel, close to various transport links. 4 minutes from a bus stop and 20 minutes on foot to Kyoto station.

Right opposite a beautiful garden and about 15 to 20 mins walk from Kyoto station. While staying here, we took Luup cycling service everywhere hence it was convenient.

Great location, amenities and good service. The room and bathroom were good size. Having laundry on site was a plus. It's walking distance from Kyoto station and some hip areas.

The room was clean, there are a lot of facility. However, No one support you at front of hotel. When you will check in, you need to go another place.

Hotel Kuu Kyoto is in a great location, especially considering how difficult Kyoto can be to navigate due to its size and the number of attractions spread across the city.

Possibly the loveliest, most relaxing hotel I have ever stayed in. This is a 19 room hotel on the riverside in a quiet part of central Kyoto.

The staff makes it very special. They are very personally attentive and go above and beyond to provide a great experience. The team members are so kind and thoughtful.

Staying at Seikoro Ryokan was one of the best experiences of my life. This is my 3rd trip to Japan and 2nd trip to Kyoto. The first time, we stayed at the Four Seasons in Kyoto.

This was the best ryokan we have stayed at. We stayed at a few 5-star hotels in Japan and this was better than them all! Beds were the most comfortable and our suite had so much charm.

We only stayed for one night but this ryokan was great for getting a more traditional Japanese experience.

This was our second time staying at this wonderful ryokan. The location is a ten minute walk from Kyoto station so getting around the city is very convenient.

Not one to normally write reviews, I felt compelled to write one after our stay at Mimaru Kyoto Station.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This was a lovely place to stay, very quiet and calm after a full day of touring. The staff was very accommodating.

This was really one of the coolest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. When we arrived, We were given a tour of the building by one of the staff who is studying game design and working there for school/work

Great hotel. I stayed here 8 nights. It’s only a 5-7 minute walk to Kyoto station and from there it’s easy to travel anywhere you like. The staff is very friendly and always available to help.

Staying one night at Ryokofuso in Kyoto was an unforgettable experience.

Ryokufuso was by far the best place I stayed while in Japan. The staff are incredibly friendly and willing to speak in English. It felt like staying in a friend's home.
