Kyoto Hotels near Imamiya Shrine

Located right next to Daitoku-ji and many other temples, a not much touristy area, so there’s not much crowdy.
The owner was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and helpful.

Amazing place and service, very nice women helping you with the sukiyaki, lamb sukiyaki was amazing, very tasty and tender. Chicken curry and the japanese beef steak box were very tasty too.

We got the lamb for 2 lunch special, which comes for miso soup and white for both people. So good! It was a great meal.

Stayed 2 nights with a family of 4. The house itself is amazing and well worth the price. The host is great and helped us with local food recommendations and local sights.

Nachiya is the most beautiful, stylish and comfortable home you can find (away from home). The house is spacious and clean and full of traditional Japanese charm.

This is the most exquisite small place. The atmosphere is so welcoming! The sushi chef prepares everything right there and the sushi was absolutely delicious!

This place is so amazing. Very traditional and very well maintained. It’s very traditional Japanese setting so maybe not to everyone’s liking, it is sleeping on the floor and very thin walls.

It's an exceptional find for a travellers looking to spend a few nights in a traditional house. Tani is lovely and very accommodating. She still lives on the ground floor.
