Hotel come with free onsen bath & have free night supper meal for hotel guest. We have the complimentary ramen and taste good. Come with decent size room and room was clean.

The hotel is a short 100m from the train station, you walk along but don’t even have to cross the small road leading to the hotel.

The location is Great!
If you come to Toyama, definitely stay near the JR station. It is where the bus tour pick up spot, and terminal of local buses.

Perfect for families with young children. The hotel is dated but it’s well maintained and spotless. Rooms are spacious in Japanese standards and beds were comfortable.

Cheap price but great stay. The kitchen and stuff are so convenient compared to other hotel. Definitely will visit again.

The loction of the hotel is really nice. You are directly at the train station, where also all the bus stations are that go to the different tourist-spots.

Do not believe the old reviews. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast on the top level tho.

Classical ryokan with a noh stage. Really beautifully decorated like a museum. The food was excellent. The staff very professional and very friendly. Rooms very clean, but a little bit old-fashioned.

You can’t stay everywhere else besides UTAIMACHI if you come to Kanazawa!

We had the best stay. The rooms are beautiful, giving you a feel for traditional Japan. The location in the middle of a Chaya district is exceptional. It’s so quiet and beautiful.

Located within the Kanazawa Station complex, I expected basic accommodation, but the Via Inn exceeded all expectations.

Very happy with this hotel. It is a business hotel and rooms are small by us standards but pretty good for a business hotel in Japan.

Super good for family to stay in, spacious and have laundry and very convenient just walking distance to the train station. Behind the hotel there is a 7-11 which was so convenient.

For a sustainably operated hotel, physical help can appear much faster than expected. In our case, even before we called for them.

Its not a business hotel, but you don’t need those amenities here because the food is great and rooms are cheap yet huge.

Loved the location of the hotel; right in front of the castle. The view from our room was of the castle. Fairly large rooms albeit a little dated. Breakfast had a good variety. Very friendly staff.

We stayed at Guesthouse Iwase for a night and had a great experience.

I had a great stay at the guest house. The manager was lovely and was very helpful. He helped me plan my trip in Toyama city. The guest house offers a few services for example bike rental.

This is a wonderful hotel and onsen! The hotel interior is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are super spacious, clean, and well-stocked with quality full-sized toiletries.

To arrive to this hotel is a little bit difficult, but worth it.
We're very impressed when we arrived the hotel, beautiful and wide scenery, silent environment and very friendly receptionists.

A bit expensive as compared to typical Japanese onsen hotel. But I still choose this hotel as I know you can view cherry blossom while enjoying the onsen🌸, which is an experience that I am after.
