Villas in HokurikuVilla

I stayed on October 3rd (Thursday).
I think it was a good idea to renovate an old folk house and have a unique atmosphere as an inn.

The university arranged it for us as a lodging place for student research activities to create a lively atmosphere around Machi-no-Eki and Asahi-za, and the six of us stayed there.

Great stay in an amazing location! Very spacious home! Not for anyone with mobility issues as the bedroom is up stairs.

Such an incredible stay. Very comfortable and spacious, and the location could not be more amazing. Highly recommend.

Amazing Ryokan, would stay there again the next time I visit Kanazawa.

Nice townhouse rental. Great location. Beautiful traditional rooms. The included washer/dryer was also great.

We loved this hotel right in the centre of the old streets of Kanazawa. The welcome we received was great and the breakfast each morning excellent with choices between Japanese and Western.

You can’t stay everywhere else besides UTAIMACHI if you come to Kanazawa!

A cozy independent 3-bedroom house managed by a professional hotel management group. It is situated in a quiet local neighborhood but just a 5-minute’ walk to the Higashi Chaya District.

Sleek and modern accommodations inside of a beautiful old wooden home. We loved it.

It was a great experience and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave great local food recommendations and everything was nicely set up and clean.

We leave this place now and we shed a tear. What an amazing stay for us. Mayo and Yama were so kind, gentle and beautiful people. All the staff is great!

Possibly our favorite Hotel in Japan. The personal service is un parrelled. Room was charming with a feel for traditional Japanese accomodations. So comfortable.

We spent three wonderful days at Yao Kumagawa and couldn’t have asked for a more authentic experience. The house itself is full of character and history, lovingly cared for and beautifully maintained.

If you’re looking for an authentic, quiet side of Japan, I highly recommend staying at Yao Kumagawa.

I stayed at Kamome last summer.
Please understand that each person has their own perspective regarding accommodation, and this may not apply to everyone.

We have the most enjoyable experience staying at the MINKA.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay!
The stay at this former chaya is a definitely highlight of our trip. The building itself is brimming with history and character.

We had a truly 5 star experience staying at this beautiful historic house.

I've always wanted to experience living in the town of my dreams, so I've always been interested in Machiya Guesthouse.

It was a very clean and nice inn that was an old townhouse renovated into a modern Japanese style.

What a delight! Absolutely loved staying in traditional accommodation in the stunning town of Kanazawa. Our accommodation was ‘Hanatsume Machiya’, part of the Machiya group.

Absolutely loved our stay here. It really felt like a home away from home for our family of three travelling with a two year old toddler.

The interior is beautiful and modern while retaining its traditional interior. Place feels new, clean and well-maintained.

This property was truly fantastic and we had an incredible time here! Run by a very professional group who makes sure that style and substance and comfort are very important.

Wow. This place has it all. Super clean, close to Toyama station and very spacious. I wish this was my house!
